Craig added that they could have had a little bit more time for landing if Matt was going to do the handstand at the end of the routine. He thought it was sort of out-of-character to land aggressively and would have been much nicer if rolled through it.

I like Paul O'Grady. What a lovely man he is. Been watching a couple of his dog programmes which always upset me a bit. I like Martin Kemp too. Haven't seen so much of Gary so know less about him - other than the obvious.

So on to the main attraction - Matt. I like the skinny tie here. Reminds me of 60s/70s cowboy films and TV programmes, but I hate the shirt and would like the jacket if it was a better fit I think. Some lovely views of Matt though. These I think are my favourites

Strange cardigan it might be, but it does fit very nicely and the colour scheme is great (cardigan is more beigish on my screen). The stubble is very nice too. Altogether there are some really great pics here - some of the best.

A good cf, matt got to meet up with some YF showing off thier animals.

I thought Matt was lovely on CountryFile last night. Not too keen on his flatcaps but this one fitted better than some, and was more than made up for by the jeans and wellies - and the jumper, and well, everything else really.

Apparently there's an hour-long One Show tonight? I remember reading that somewhere but haven't checked it myself. That will be nice if true

Yes, tonight The One Show is on from 6:30-7:30. I guess as it's a Bank Holiday in the UK it's a cheap and easy way to fill an hour and not be complained at for putting on repeats

Nice jeans. I like this flat-cap. I dislike the one he had on CF with the deer stocker. The check one which reminded me of my granddad but the weather was cold so I tolerated it. I know you are not too keen on his hats but my choice for him has to be the cap Prince Harry wore on the Jubilee pageant. Like the uniform as well.

It's Countryfile from the Luddenden area on the 21st of April now in picspams. Matt was looking at a eco-food movement in Todmorden, including guerrilla gardening, aquaponics at a school, and vegetable 'wine' (during the tasting Matt said 'I'm not going to do the sniffy or swirly thing, it's going straight down the hatch' ).

Poor Antiques Roadshow - beaten by Countryfile every week on Sunday and can't even beat an hour long episode of The One Show (even when that started outside primetime at 6:30pm)

Rating for The One Show last night was 3.72m - 19% audience share and 9th most watched show yesterday. A really good result for an hour long show that started earlier than normal on a bank holiday (so people were still likely to be out and about)

I know Antiques Roadshow was up against Britain's Got Talent but if I was the BBC I'd want it to do a bit better than 3.48m (15%) - and it didn't make the top 10 for the day, being beaten by the documentary on the Queen at 9pm. Starting to think Antiques Roadshow needs a shakeup!

Does anyone know both CF and the OS are up against the TV Choice vote under the same category? Shame I had to choose one so I voted for CF over the OS (really tough choice!) and SCD for the talent show. I am not very convinced that a voting can really make a difference though. Yesterday the OS was a good one, liked the show and VTs. Seemed Matt and Alex got a new toy in the studio. The guests were good. I’ve seen Suzi on F1 but didn’t know her name cos I paid more attention on the races. She was a good replacement of Jake. Matt did say something at the end of the show that they will be somewhere for something. I wasn’t listening to him well so I have no idea what he was talking about.

You might have known about it already as it’s been up on the website a while ago but my question is would he not film CF as it is on Friday so we could miss him in next 2 week time on CF. Great viewing figures for CF and the OS … I thought the ratings might down a bit due to it was bank holiday weekend so people could be on their holiday.

I never watch Antiques Roadshow because it is not the type of the show I don’t want to miss but I feel that Matt would probably watch it every week. He likes to collect antiques, doesn’t he? Or he may choose the dark room instead for this.:sleep:

I can't watch Antiques Roadshow because of Fiona Bruce. Really can't stand her. But I know that's not everyone's reason I think you're right. It's been around too long in the same old format and is just getting a bit old and dull.

I voted for The One Show because I thought it would probably need the votes more - though that's probably diluting the voting possibilities if others think like me. And Great British Bake Off as best reality show. I thought that was a really warm and lovely show. I thought about SCD, then realized I couldn't even remember who won it last time! Thanks for the info about CIPR awards. I didn't know about this at all.

The awards ceremony shouldn't have any impact on Countryfile as it's on a Monday (3rd June). Might affect The One Show, but even then I suspect the event won't really start until 8pm(ish) as there's a lot of people who will be needing to get to London from wherever they work.

After a lovely sunny bank holiday weekend normal service with the weather is back and have had rain most of the day

A good tos with jimmy, bet matt had a good chat with him after the show about his pigs.

Matt all wrapped up in a jumper again as the weather has turned cold. His hair is getting long now, matt must be due a mop chop.
