Evening everyone
yay ,he's back. lovely to see matt again. He's was looking fabulous, nice and stubbly, hair looking good nice and long, good unbuttonage, very very bouncy. Sounds like it was a good xmas for team B a mini drum kit and piano, wonder which big kid had a play with the drum kit. ![]() Sarah was a good guest presenter, made matt happy by bringing biscuits in. Rory was a good guest, a nice fun show to start the year. So relieved to have him back on the sofa and Sarah M was better than I thought she would be. I thought she might overwhelm the OS with her gigglyness and talkative personality but she did well as a 'stand-in' presenter. I haven't seen her chat show yet but think it's on post-watershed so she's able to give rein to her rather naughty jokes. Bet she had Matt in stitches during the briefings with her wicked humour (and he may have blushed just a weeny bit ) Rory was a lively and interesting guest....missed the quiz about bad Christmas presents at the end of the show, but I'm sure all will make sense when I view it tomorrow It's good that Rory has been able to keep the weight off since he lost all those pounds training on SCD. I thought he looked very trim and dashing in his lovely woolly jumper (that would look gorgeous on our man).Off to have the food I didn't eat before the OS, I was so eager to position myself on the floor in front of the telly that I forgot about my dessert and drink ![]() And having just visited Oxford I feel duty-bound to watch Lewis so off I go for now...... |

Olympics London 2012: The Greatest Moments of Matt Baker (Part 2)
Hi all - I am trying to continue KK's photo review 2012.
Day 6 BBC 1 Thursday 2 August 2012 Olympics Park Studio 11.30-13.00 Matt presents the coverage of rowing finals (Men's double sculls, Lightweight men's four final and Women's eight final). http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...82Day6-060.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...82Day6-065.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...82Day6-081.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...82Day6-094.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...82Day6-096.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...82Day6-107.jpg Day 6 BBC 2 Thursday 2 August 2012 Olympics Park Studio 13.00-13.45 Matt crosses over to BBC2 and continues presenting the afternoon program. http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...y6BBC2-002.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...y6BBC2-003.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...y6BBC2-005.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...y6BBC2-006.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...y6BBC2-007.jpg Day 6 BBC 3 Thursday 2 August 2012 North Greenwich Arena 14.00-19.00 Matt commentates on Gymnastics Artistic Women's Individual All-Round final alongside Mitch and Chris. All-round Great British gymnasts Hanna and Rebecca are among the qualifiers. I don’t have any pics of Matt cos I think he just dashes off to NGA and hops in to the commentary box after his daytime duties Pics of Hanna and Rebecca in stead of FBB while they are being introduced to the crowd. Matt talks through it. http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...020812-001.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...020812-002.jpg http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...020812-003.jpg You can listen to Matt lovely dialect tone of voice in the video and their commentary in the video which I always find it very fascinating. Morning. Yes, lovely to see Matt back and looking so gorgeous, and lively, and tiggery and stubbly. I thought Sarah did very well as co-host. I too was a bit worried she might get carried away with herself but she knew what her job was.
Davina McCall tonight (as guest I think). Only my love for Matt would force me to watch anything with her in it. Hope he wears something amazing to make up for her presence! |

Afternoon all. Normal service was definitely resumed yesterday
Rating for the return of The One Show was 4.67m (21% share) so right back to it's usual level. It was the 10th most watched programme of the day (which wasn't bad as BBC had 2 half hour comedies in the list where normally there'd be a one hour show).

Not my fave comidienne but was pleasantly surprised and lots of giggles with the lovely Rory Bremner who never fails to make me smile. KK - CF cerainly kept its own against the first episode of DOI - really good rating and T1S - the return- did keep its market share as well so all is right with the world |

It's Countryfile on the 2nd of December and I'm still rushing through the picspams
We're in the South Downs and Matt is talking about the naturalist Gilbert White.Although I do like this one http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...07at211800.png And of course can't miss this one out http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...07at212309.png But, not surprisingly, my favourites are indoor pics. Love these two http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...07at210804.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...07at210815.png All of this lot are wonderful of course. Have just picked a few http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...07at211025.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...07at211150.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...07at211224.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...07at211247.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...07at211358.png Doesn't his skin look absolutely perfect in these. Hello all - It’s jumper time!
I need one too. It was very obvious that Matt made Sarah felt welcomed. The OS probably does something different for Sport Relief 2013 as Alex has been filming in Malawi but why won’t they set up a challenge for their presenters to go head to head dancing on ice for sport relief? The OS on Ice was just a teaser so why not let them doing it properly? It is not easy, quite challenging for them to learn and practice in limited time, I know. Health and safety needs to be in places but it would be rewarding IMO. They may come up with an idea that more OS viewers to get involved though.

Evening all
A great tos tonight, matt and sarah were having a great time and lots of laughs, having fun with davina getting her to do weightlifting with cake, i'm sure sarah would have loved to have a taste of it all the cakes ![]() Davina was ok, not that they chatted with her much, not alot that you can say about a excise dvd ![]() Matt was looking lovely in his red jumper, nice and stubbly, a very happy bouncy matt tonight, think he has been enjoying having sarah has his guest co-host. She is a good laugh would be happy to have sarah back as a guest presenter

Back to 1 hr tomorrow - will be interesting to see the ratings |

Think its Comic Relief that AJ is doing - she went to Africa for the last one as well a couple of years ago to do a presentation.T1S seems to have its yearly C1N Challenge - suppose they cant do it all
![]() Tonight 's T1S was typically random- which other programme would have weightlifting with cakes but it was funny. Back to 1 hr tomorrow - will be interesting to see the ratings But they both calmed down under Matt's guidance as he brought order to the proceedings He looked great as usual but I'm hoping he'll be sans jumper tomorrow ![]() So it's Gabby L as co-host tomorrow. She's a seasoned presenter so will be the hostess with the mostest? Anyway, it'll be a step up from presenting Splash, that rather ill-advised programme that has come in for such a bashing (splashing? Couldn't ask for more, could she? Thanks Emma by the way for such gorgeous phawtaws from Day 8 of the Olympics, particularly this one..... http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...040812-117.jpg It's a thing of beauty......what a charming picture! So CCM to the good and the great who are still up! Night night, sleep tight. xx |

I thought Matt and Sarah worked really well together. He seems very relaxed with her, more so than usual. Gabby Logan is another lady who irritates me, but not as much as Davina. Thank goodness Matt and Sarah between them finally managed to shut her up. I thought she was going to spend the whole programme talking about her DVD!
Mike D, bless him, is probably the only presenter in the world who can make killer whales seem dull. I like Matt's compensatory over-enthusiasm for the subject -or was he just taking the mickey? He does like to do that with Mike D. Didn't like the red jumper or the trousers, but there was lots of stubble so I'm happy. I'm just happy to have him back really

Hello all – Very interesting show tonight and somebody’s seriously HOT, utterly lovely and gorgeous again!
It is wonderful to see he is making good friends with the multi-colour collection of waistcoats! Really, really suits him, as he’s body is in great shape. I was expecting that he might have come back with a bit of xmas pie/pud belly after Christmas break but he hasn’t so I am v impressed that he manages to maintain his fitness level so well. And he’s been hypnotised and Alex has just missed the opportunity to see how her sofamate was hypnotised by Paul. It’s only fair! I have to re-watch it again cos I couldn’t manage to listen to what Paul has said about Matt’s single-mind or something like that. Gabby was fine co-hosting with Matt on the OS. She and Matt hosted the show before Alex and Jason’s debut. I found the young ballerina’s story interesting.

Emma - thank you for recapping the Olympics
It's great to look back on those weeks where Matt did such a good job and made himself a lot of new fans. And Paul's comments on the One Show tonight were about how when Matt was hypnotised he became single minded and very focused on what he was doing. It was fascinating to see that because I think Matt does love art and would probably like to take it more seriously and I think some of that came out when he was hypnotised |

Think I was too hypnotised by the return of the waistcoat to take much notice of anything else and then had to lave before the end. No matter I will catch Matt Van Gough on i player.
CCM all as am feeling a tad under the weather and going to make my way up the wooden hill:yawn::yawn: |
