Afternoon ![]() Looks like Matt would be back on the saddle on CF next week, the Cambrian-Mountains…really looking forward to it. Btw, has anyone applied for the ticket draw to be the guest of the CF 25 years Jubilee Celebration filming on 21 July? Just curious. Hope the weather is going to be fine... Matt and Julia said it is going to be an indoor event though. Quote:
It's Countryfile from the Humber Estuary on the 26th May where Matt was on the salt marsh seeing how it's managed and then visited an agricultural college to see how more women are getting into farming.

Most watched programme on British TV yesterday - Countryfile with 5.44m viewers (23.3%). This put it ahead of Top Gear (which aired at the same time on BBC2 to 4.72m viewers). Antiques Roadshow in Countryfile's old slot of 7pm only managed 4.38m viewers
![]() Proof that Countryfile deserved that 8pm primetime slot ahead of Antiques Roadshow when even a clipshow can rate that well! |

![]() Proof that Countryfile deserved that 8pm primetime slot ahead of Antiques Roadshow when even a clipshow can rate that well! It was a good clip show, nice to see the segway racing and the hearts of oak again ![]() Why oh why was matt wearing a jacket tonight he must have been boiling in the studio. The shirt was nice tho, quite a few wow's and lovely unbuttonage with very good SNW. He looked lovely. Nice standing up views, while doing the topiary. thought matt looked more ball shaped Katie and alex, the fun and games they have on tos. Katie was fine, talking about the proms, it is the 3rd year she been on to talk about it. Andy made it through in the tennis, he did make hard work of it in the 2nd set, onwards and upwards to the next round, shame Laura gone out, tho i'm happy that Serena is out, will watch the ladies final now.

Did Matt go through the whole show without taking his hat off?

![]() Looks like the razor had come out to play again, a clean shaven matt, looking great in his blue jacket and the shirt was back to being buttoned up. We got a bit of matt singing ![]() A good show with Rod and Penny, he seemed to like his train set that he got. |

Benefit of high profile guests on The One Show last night - 4.1m viewers (20% audience share).
The day before it didn't even make the top 10 shows of the day so was below 3.4m viewers - probably not helped by some decent tennis happening at the same time.

A really good cf tonight, matt looked fabulous, in white top and snug jeans good stubble as well very thuddy horse riding and sitting in the pub trying the local beers, lots of matt to enjoy ![]() Andy did it, ![]() ![]() What a brilliant men's final, very exciting and nerve racking in the 3rd set, kept yelling at the telly for andy to come on The final game, the edge of your seat stuff. a fabulous win for him, He did look quite lovely to.

Rating for yesterday's Countryfile 5.03m (24.0% audience share). Held up pretty well considering the weather and people probably having a TV hangover after Wimbledon and the F1
.It was a good episode too - nicely put together story for Matt with the healing water story. Weirdly the horse bit at the beginning - though nice - felt more out of place as it didn't seem to fit with the rest of his stuff. And it probably used up a lot of filming time... but he did look nice in the horse riding gear. I suspect there will be some comments online about him wearing the body armour (usual "health & safety gone mad" comment) - though if they knew about his broken back they might be a bit more sensible... |
