Lovely start to the show with standing up views, a nice jacket but it could have been left at home or in his dressing room as it was covering the shirt which was really wowful with quite a few straining buttons

I used to really enjoy Alan Titchmarsh's original gardening show but haven't liked him in anything since then. He is to me an example of someone who really should stick to what they do best.

On to Matt. Nice fitting shirt. Lots to admire here. Makes it difficult to choose favourites but I've managed.

Not a totally Mattless cf, we had a small clip of him in a harness going into pancake caves, brightened up tonights cf. It was a good one Ellie did a great job with the rock climbing

And of course the banquet continues because we have Matt back on our screens tomorrow, hurray!! It's been an awfully long three weeks but we've faced it off and tomorrow our patience will be rewarded

Saw most of CF tonight but failed to see the short Matt clip early on in the programme but I'll see it on Catch-Up. CF is never quite the same without our man but it's still excellent viewing!

So good to have tos back, mat was full of beans, sounds like he had a good holiday at home on the farm with the birth of a baby donkey, bet it's really cute.
Matts looking good, he's been mopchopped and not a lot of stubble.

Mark was a good guest getting into the show and having a go at the basket ball, shame we didn't get to see matt having a go.

Morning all - so The One Show came back and inevitably Matt was wearing a jacket

The show did OK in the ratings with 3.71m (19% share). That's a slightly low share but I wonder if some viewers didn't even realise it was back from it's break. We'll see how that goes over the next week or so...

And Julia Bradbury had a new show at 9pm last night (Long Live Britain) - it was heavily trailed but didn't do very well. Only managed 2.7m (12.3% share). I think Julia is trying out too many different types of show at the moment with this and the quiz show, and none of them are really working for her...

Nice little bonus mattage before the news. playing sandcastles

A lovely sunny day in western super mare for tos
Matt was in his nice biceps revealing t-shirt (with a strategically place star fish shape over the logo so not to upset the logo police) and shorts lots of lovely leg and arms on show. A full of beans and a fab looking matt gawgus.

Rhod was a ok guest he was getting a bit annoying keep on interrupting but otherwise a good tos , brilliant sandcastles.

I found this radio program from BBC Radio Bistol website. I cannot listen to it as I am at work so no idea of the contents of the program but the website said ‘Laura live at the One Show roadshow in Weston-super-Mare’ so I guess there would be chatting/interviewing stuff with Matt and Alex. Justin announced the winner’s knees by picking up one from the line-up but I noted that the OS camera seemed to be in disagreement, showing the winner’s knees in close-up. Hah…hah…

‘Baker Manor’ is a beautiful mini sand castle. Jamie and his team have made Matt’s dream come true. Well, sort of. Not that big enough to walk in. And this was the 3rd time I‘ve seen Jamie’s sand-artworks. First time was creating Randy Newman’s face on the sand of Blackpool beach on the One Show. And then in a story James Wong covered on Countryfile. A very talented man, the creation of the 100th year anniversary of Edinburgh Zoo was incredible. Great teamwork! The Fallen Project seems to be great. If I am free I’d love to be one of the volunteers.

I didn't even catch JB's new show, but it's true she doesn't seem to be doing very well in her various endeavours. I think a lot of people are going off her lately (including me I have to say). There are more and more complaints about presenters fronting shows on subjects they know nothing about. It is I suppose a case of the infamous "dumbing down" process. I'd much rather see less showmanship and more expertise myself, so can understand the complaints.

Hi Emma. These spokeo pics don't appear on my screen. I get the arrows to move from pic to pic but no pic! Anyone else having the same problem? I daresay it's something I have to tweak in my browser but I have no idea what.

I love building sandcastles and am rather good at it, if I do say so myself

Rhod is one of those comedians that I just have to look at to start laughing so I can forgive him his interruptions - in fact I didn't notice them to be honest.

Thanks for these and the pics in previous post Emma. I think all the photos from WSM came out really well. There were some super ones posted on twitter. The colour purple seems to really suit Matt.
