Looking forward to reviewing tonight's OS, such a lot going on! Matt looked completely wonderful in his dark red shirt, black waistcoat and grey trews, and we had bonus standing up outside the studio as well Ruth Jones was a lovely guest and Paul McK demonstrated his hypnotherapy skills. Matt looked rather embarrassed afterwards but it was fascinating to see him paint a Picasso-type picture and one that was slightly more 'dauby/blobby'. We know he is a brilliant artist and it was great to learn about his real affection for modern art. What a complex and lovely person he is

And thank you again Emma for more Olympic pics....the ones from Day 8 were simply superb and I'll enjoy delving into the ones you've just posted. It brings back such happy memories!

Hello everyone. Rating for last night's show was 4.28m which isn't sounding too bad for a Wednesday night. I'll keep an eye out to see if I can find a percentage share...

I thought Gabby did well on the show but obviously she has presented it before - she and Matt seem to get on pretty well (but then again they have similar backgrounds so it probably helps ).

I thought Gabby was okay last night and I normally don't like her very much - too determined. I wish she'd shut up when Paul started talking about Matt's hypnotic experience, but I guess she was being told to move on. Thought it was funny when she said lots of little girls, and some grown up ones.....dreams of becoming a ballet dancer, and Matt said "and some grown men too"

I'm still recovering from the way he looked last night I must say. That outfit was amazing, and he's been so chipper since his return - more so with Sarah I thought, but maybe that was for her sake as she's less used to it.

Wonder who the guest is tonight? Wonder what Matt will be wearing?

The guest tonight is Frank Skinner who is normally pretty good - Alex is back too

I've just looked on the ITV Media site and the rating is The One Show 4.283m (19% share). So not bad...

And whilst we've seen Matt in ballet gear before (Blue Peter) it's still nice to imagine the more mature version in tights

It's thudsday already, it had been a quick week.

Matt looked amazing last night, lovely colour shirt and a wonderful fitting waistcoat, very thuddy
A good tos. Very interesting matt being hypnotised, him being Picasso and getting into the part, doing some painting, talking about the plant and what it see's and some of the people in the photos not being natural, would have liked to seen more of it, there would have been alot lot more if paul was there for 2 1/2 hours. Shame they couldn't talk about more on tos
Ruth was a great guest, funny and chatting, paul was good, he can be very interesting when talking about hypnotising and how it works, but didn't he fidget alot, just didn't sit still, made matt's fidgeting seem very mild
Gabby was alright as a guest presenter.

It is a shame to spend so little time on something so interesting. It's what we were all waiting for In the end the piece itself was hardly longer than the earlier introduction. Still, it was the same with Alex last year so I wasn't really surprised.

Hello all - Mr B’s very giggly and the OS studio seemed warm enough for him even it’s cold and very foggy outside tonight! When I need to warp up myself warm he could stay out of his jumper.

Did he? I couldn’t manage to listen to that bits. I got to re-watch it over the weekend. Yes I reckon too he loves the art and all the artworks. I remember Matt said in some of his old interviews that drawing is one of his interests and to the Farmers Guardian that he draws and paints when he’s relaxed. I think it keeps him very focused on what he’s doing. In other times, he’s a hyper, very active, very lively.

Evening all

A good last tos of the week, it went quickly, matt was very giggly tonight, very bouncy and happy, having a good laugh with frank. Frank was a good guest, a good relaxed show
Matt was looking great, nice shirt with the top poppers undone stubble is looking good, hopefully will be staying for cf-ing if thry are doing any tomorrow
Good to have alex back

Excellent rating for last night's One Show 5m (22% audience share).

Really great to see it hit the 5m mark and that's an excellent percentage share too.

Wow! What happened! Do you reckon those that have been tuning in this week saw the wonderful waistcoat and red shirt, and Matt's general bubbliness and enthusiasm, and passed the word around? If so, those extra viewers will not have been disappointed last night as Matt was at his gorgeous best, both looks, outfit and giggle-wise They'll be asking themselves what they've been missing

I shall watch with interest to see what tonight's offering attracts.

Gosh, doesn't he look clean-shaven and shorn here, compared to the way he's looked all this week. I hope he keeps his current look myself - also, current taste in clothes

None of these really stand out for me. They're all quite nice though. I'll choose this one as my favourite I think:

So do I Rita so do I. Can never see Thudsday as I work late but for me the wine coloured shirt/ waistcoat combo plus tthe stubble of course is a look par excellance. The freezer is working overtime this week.

Afternoon, anyone who's around. Hope all are having a good weekend. It's been warm and sunny here today which is a bit strange but welcome.

4.52m (20.7%) for TOS last night, which is not bad at all. My latest theory is that Matt builds up the ratings during the week, only to have them knocked back slightly by Friday's show so we have to start again on Monday

I watched a bit of last night's show. Alex really doesn't look very comfortable with CE. I think it might be because she has to work a bit harder. Matt I think takes more responsibility, so she probably feels she is in a safer pair of hands.

How is everyone, been a cold grey day here, car had it's MOT today and passed without any problems
Snow forecasted for sunday night, monday morning, which is not making my mum very happy as my parents are due to fly out monday morning on holiday. Fingers crossed it will miss us.

Hello all - Just re-watched a repeat of last week CF Horses and Dogs. Husky racing was brilliant and those huskies are gorgeous. Matt’s tactic worked so well as he bobbing himself down so he could manage to stay upright all the way. It would be lovey to see him again with Annie tonight.

The man, the lighting, the camerawork, everything, just perfection! Matt’s eyes are very expressive which makes you feel he is taking directly to you so you don’t feel the distance and you won’t find a dull moment! The colour of his eyes matching to his top looks wonderful.

It became funnier when Julia said to John, ‘you just wanted to kiss him’. And I think John was a bit cheeky when he replied, ‘No, I didn’t. Of course I did, it works!’

Both Matt and Alex are not much different in term of size, height and weight but as you have said, he does illustrate that his strength is greater than his size. His greatest, I’d say, is his mental strength driven by his inner determination and dedication. And I admire him most for this.
