Hello
I have found the evidence of Matt having captured the attention of Chinese nation. PM question time http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMjgzOTEzMTY0.html Cha Cha Cha http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMjgzOTEzMTY0.html What a surprise! You would need to wait a bit for the ads in first few seconds. Let me know if you can’t view them. Got the cha cha one to load after some time but it kept stopping and not playing, it good that he has found his way on to china's utube

Emma, thanks for the quick Matt pictures
. Last nights episode did really well in ratings - getting 6.7m viewers and a 31% audience shareRegarding One Man and His Dog - they've said the singles round will air on Countryfile, the other bits on red button the same day / week (end of this month). Personally I think that's as much as you can expect them to devote to a really minority interest on a show that airs in primetime and attracts 7m+ viewers. One Man and His Dog was getting less than 1m viewers so even something like 15 minutes on Countryfile is a fantastic boost for its profile. If it attracts attention then there is an opportunity for them to do more over the next year. Like I said - they might consider doing more around the training of Bob and perhaps showing further trials competitions... |

Evening all. Quiet around here today
![]() Just had a look and last nights One Show rated really well with 4.67m viewers (23% audience share). Really great in terms of both rating and share and remarkably only the 10th most watched show last night. For reference, the equivalent show last year got 4.24m viewers so it's actually up year on year

. Hopefully tonight's show will draw people out...Rating for last night was 4.42m (21% audience share) so still not bad. Matt looked lovely in his waistcoat and what appeared to be a new pair of skinny chinos in a nice teal blue colour |

Rickshaw 2013 promo pics from tonight’s OS. At first I thought there would be no Matt involvement. My excitement has nearly gone down to zero. http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...S131013-01.jpg http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...S131013-02.jpg http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...S131013-03.jpg http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...S131013-04.jpg http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...S131013-05.jpg http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...S131013-06.jpg Matt’s rolling beer barrel and barge sprawling on tonight CF on yesterday channel. Good rating for an hour long One Show last night - 4.07m (19% audience share). And it was the 6th most watched programme of the day. That's really good for a Wednesday
![]() I suspect the promotion about the rickshaw challenge helped the audience... |

I'm on holiday next week so I'm trying to leave you with at least one picspam to tide you over with
![]() It's the 19th of September on The One Show with guest Kate Humble. Who clearly loves One Man and His Dog SO MUCH that she obviously talked to Matt - her co-presenter on the show a couple of times - about it being cancelled when she was on this show - before talking to the press about her "one women mission to bring it back" . Strange that Matt wouldn't have mentioned how he was hosting it on Countryfile this year (Stories in this week's press have Kate saying that it's wrong the show has been cancelled by the BBC - http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2013-...an-and-his-dog - either she's upset she's no longer presenting or there's some selective interpretation happening there with the press...)Matt was wearing a very fine knit coral jumper (you could see the spots on his shirt through the material ) and a pair of indigo jeans. And this was the episode in which Matt introduced Bob his new sheepdog to the worldhttp://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...11at161453.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...11at161724.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...11at162347.png http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/...11at162941.png Have to see how it works out with OMAHD. It's too early to say if the new format will work or not. At least though, people will be watching it. I don't know how big an audience it had but probably not great. In general I don't like the way the bbc is cutting speciality programmes with a limited audience, especially when they've had a long history. We'll see. |

You would need to wait a bit for the ads in first few seconds. Let me know if you can’t view them. Some nice pics from 'Once' Musical UK Press Night (KK and myself has posted some but these are the better ones) http://images.starpulse.com/pictures...LMK-090933.jpg http://images.starpulse.com/pictures...LMK-090979.jpg http://images.starpulse.com/pictures...LMK-090931.jpg http://images.starpulse.com/pictures...LMK-090932.jpg Source: http://www.starpulse.com/events/2296...ress+Night+/1/ Digging out some good old pics from 2008 BBC Children in Need – Around the World in 80 Days: http://static.bbc.co.uk/images/ic/qe...he_world_i.jpg Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/images/148122/ http://static.bbc.co.uk/images/ic/qe...p1040243.1.jpg Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/images/147343/ http://static.bbc.co.uk/images/ic/qe...he_world_i.jpg Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/images/148125/ http://static.bbc.co.uk/images/ic/qe..._world_i.1.jpg Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/images/148123/ http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/...58_468x358.jpg I am wondering when the OS will introduce us team rickshaw 2013 and the entire route the team will ride. Think we will see team collaborating with Viewranger, Medibike and Across the Divide soon. Hope we get to see good promo pics. Looking forward to see Matt’s clip with Anthony Worrall Thompson on CF Compilation - Wild Harvest tonight at 6.20pm. It was filmed during SCD 2010 in either VW or Rumba week and hasn’t been repeated yet. Broken spectre was at least repeated twice already but would be nice to see Matt and his binocular. Having caught up last night SCD and I am still very happy that I didn’t watch live. I skipped some uninteresting VTs and comments and scores so all worked perfectly well for me. In VTs some couples have plenty time to go out from training rooms and spend their time somewhere to practice for the sake of motivation or something like that. Incredible! I think Natalie can dance like a pro. Don’t know she and Artem would manage to win the series as this is not just a dance competition but she appeared to be consistently the strongest contender. Ashley, Sophie and Susanna have potentials to be good dancers but they are not so consistent. And I spotted that M&A’s VW and AS floor spins in Iveta’s last night routine in rather brief and slow walking movements. Also M&A’s AS spin in Patrick’s routine in rather running movements. I have no favourite at all as I don’t get bonded with any couples but I think Natalie is great and Artem’s routines are interesting; Ben and Kevin are appeared to be likable; and it is very likely that Ashley and Ben will get supports and votes from many women. Pure guess that Rachel, Ben and Patrick will fight for a place for semi-final.

If anything, I think with BBC3 and BBC4 being available to all homes in the uk there are a lot more speciality shows available now - particularly on BBC4 (some really obscure art history stuff there!). BBC1 and BBC2 are more mainstream but I think that's because they can be now there are the other channels for the really quirky stuff - and even then things like Stargazing Live, Science Club, School of Hard Sums (all Dara O'Briain actually) and the *Watch shows get really big audiences for "minority" interest subjects. |

On BBC2 One Man and his Dog had a tiny audience - not even making the top 30 programmes for the channel in the week. So probably less than 1m viewers. This way, it may not be on for as long but it's going to be seen by 7m viewers. And if it gets good feedback I suspect we'll be seeing more of it on Countryfile

Evening!
Back home after a few days in Suffolk - weather mixed but the stormy seas looked magnificent, and during the short spells of sunshine, everything was gorgeous ![]() Thank you Emma for the pretty pics - I've yet to see the Gloria E episode of the OS. Love Gloria and of course our Matt!Much admiration for Andrew M on the OS tonight, he's getting on well after his serious stroke but realises it's a slow haul. He was an interesting and interested guest. On a shallow note, bakerettes were bowled over by the shirt, tie, waistcoat and jeans combination as modelled by Matt this evening. Think it was judged a '10'! Matt's artistic offering on the tablet, his depiction of Andrew, was a great 'painting' though, as we know, Matt loves to draw his landscapes of Britain which is where his heart lies.So no Matt on CF so after an abundance of Mattage over the last couple of weeks, we are now in famine territory. Roll on Monday!Trying to watch CF on Yesterday channel whilst finishing chores for the evening & washing hair........ evenings don't get better than this Sleep tight all  CCM xx

Emma, go and read the article on the Pudsey site as it should cheer you up. Matt is involved and will be mentoring and cycling alongside the Rickshaw (similar to last year I guess) in all 4 countries. Based on the fact that he and Alex are switching on the Xmas lights in Bolton they will again be hosting The one Show along the way too.
Alex is acting as "parent" to one of the young people so she will be on the Rickshaw so obviously there's a bit more focus on her this year. Afternoon all! Hopefully Matt is filming Countryfile today - given they were filming in Tring yesterday I'd be hopeful (that's very local)
![]() Last nights Episode of The One Show got 4.06m viewers (20% share) and was the 6th most watched programme of the day. Not bad given there was a finale of a big Emmerdale story at the same time |
