Hello
I watched back last week CF clip show. It was great to see Matt’s lovely expressive eyes again. What a beauty and the secret of this beauty is the expressions behind those pair of lovely eyes which make you feel he is directly taking to you, not to the camera if you know what I mean. A Matt-free CF this evening so I am looking forward to see him tomorrow on the OS.

It wasn’t perfect but what I found was some mediocre dancers got 8s and 9s and who done slightly better got highly praised and have already been rewarded the 10s throughout the night/series so the only way was further up, marking some really good performances higher. And it was only fair and it doesn’t make any senses if I compare their marks with those from the past series.

I didn’t realise he was dancing the Samba. I’d put him in the category of Russell Grant and Lisa Riley who added some stage entertainments to strictly and can do some dance moves reasonably despite their size but they are nowhere near as good as those do well.

I didn’t see anything wrong unless I could see the original routine. If she did they covered it up very well and she is in the different league from the rest. I wouldn’t even compare her with Matt, Kara and Pamela. She is way above their level. Artem is like Aliona who doesn’t mind to take risks. He would have known beforehand Len wouldn’t be that happy with his choreography, still he went with his guts. Good old Artem, he is the perfect partner for her.

Sophie still needed to work on her arms extensions and lines. It was a classic VW and if she and Brandon can correct some flaws next time, it gonna be really good like Alisha and Matthew’s VW. I like her hairdo and dress and she looked lovely.

It was QS, wasn’t it. Her footwork was messy and her partner Kevin started showing off what he can do more and more often rather than covered up her weaknesses. Just my findings, not what I thought but then again she appeared to be like Chris, getting supports from the judges and the voters so no way they are at the risk of being voted out even though others who did better than her can be in the danger zone and find themselves in the bottom two.

I don’t find it so.

If you looked at his face only, you would have said so but if you look at his footwork, you would see his flat-footed and went off timing in places; leg not straight when he kicked. If anyone don’t believe me it is still on iplayer.

Not to mention arms placements as enough said. Apart from his acting, says, characterisation, it was nowhere near as good as Sophie and Brandon’s Charleston who got straight nines as it was the early stage of the series.

He didn’t hit the lines well as he has old bad habits that need to get rid off by now and I did notice their arms looked awkward when they went into the holding hands movement. I think he was a bit over-marked but even the like of Patrick’s imperfect footwork was given 3 tens so why not he could deserve a bit higher scores. Not a fan, he doesn’t rock me at all by any means but it would be still fair if he can make it to the final as one of the finalists but who knows.
And finally, I managed to catch up last week strictly and when I heard Len saying they got to be really picking up because he found the standard was so high and the final is looming; I laughed my head off.

In the Matt year, they picked up all the contestants from week two, they used a massive magnifier on Matt consistently and also on Kaka sometimes. They knew the standard of Series 8 very high right from the start. Now he (and possible the other judges) woke up last week and started realised they have given away the scores way far too much unnecessarily to some couples or done it in the needs of giving the good impressions of the series?
And I found strictly is no longer strictly at all!
