Been thinking about the whole Brucie giving up SCD business. Wonder who's in the running as his replacement. If they actually go for a direct replacement that is....I guess they could stick with Tess & Claudia. I can tolerate Tess...She's ok with Claudia and coped very well with Bruce but Claudia is just brilliant. Not at all sure I'd want to see M in that role to be honest. I know its a brilliant job & probably loads of money but just can't quite see it as a fit for some reason. Still love that people want him to do it though 
I think he could do it of course and I'd clearly enjoy it .... and we know from GW that he was having thoughts in that direction at that point. Interesting...

And now you mentioned it Bee, re - Bruce standing down. At first, I thought not to repeat my views, tbh. Matt as a host on strictly has been my dream and I’ve said it like 100 times already.
Talent-wise he is the perfect host. As we all know, he has the remarkable abilities to entertain, perform, sing, dance, and host. Above all he has the great connection/interactions with strictly studio and live audiences. He has the whole package. Evidently he has made positive impacts to the shows he has been on but he has to work 6 days a week for 3 months. Much as I soooo love to see Matt entertaining us on Saturday nights on strictly, his work schedule is pretty tight whereas others might not be.

I wouldn’t mind if Tass and Claudia host the show. If they do; on positive notes - I can catch up the show on iplayer if I find something I’d enjoy and skip the parts I wouldn’t want to bother. If Matt is on I would want to watch it live and have to put up with annoying bits such as VTs.

Bruce has now given up doing scd, can't say that I'll miss him, the show runs a lot better without him, who will now take over presenting I wouldn't mind if Tess and Claudia did it, it will be interesting to see what names will be put forward to take over.
Of course matt would be brilliant presenting strictly, but I think he's to busy to do that as well, without giving up cf for a couple of months or re-arranging when he does cf and loosing a day on tos”
To be fair, Bruce was doing great until series 8. I didn’t watch series 9 live. I just logged on to SCD website straight after the show and watched Alex, Aliona, Holly and Chalsee’s dances so I don’t know whether Bruce was ok or not. He was a bit of rebellious in series 10, I reckon. Heard he will still be hosting strictly Christmas special and CiN. Good old Bruce, he can still hang on to!
You see, Sky – Matt was the hot favourite as soon as Adrian left the OS (which was around May 2010 if I remember correctly) but things turned the other way round. It was Jason got the offer, not Matt. Then Christine left the OS and Al was her replacement alongside Chris on Fridays to join the show. Now everything worked out perfectly well for all.
