And yet column inches will be filled tomorrow with the story of the BBC being banned.

Speaking of which, yet more arse biting for Jabba... http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/f...record-1261653

So for the only trophy to be a title that was a foregone conclusion, and that being celebrated as though it were an SPL title, was hilarious to watch.”

Remind us what superpower of Scottish football you support again??

Both Rangers & Celtic had foregone conclusions in winning their respective leagues so based on your logic Celtic shouldn't have been celebrating their title win either - what were they supposed to do slit their wrists after the trophy presentation??

Dundee. What's your point, caller?

I should have known the point would be lost.

I'm putting the celebrations in the context of the attitude at the start of the season, and the continued claiming of the previous club's history. That's what makes them, to fans of other clubs, hilarious.

Watched Glasgows wee team celebrating their Amateur Scottish 4th Tier Irn Bru Cup win today, had a decent laugh at them.

Must be looking forward to an exciting season in the Irn Bru 3rd Tier next season where they'll face stars like Wullie McTavish, Hector Broon, Angus Williamson and big Hamish McPherson at Cowfield Park and the Pig Sty Arena.

I know your probably just trying to get a rise out of the rangers fans on the thread but this is exactly the sort of attitude that makes us lower league fans dislike Old Firm fans

That patter is absolutely stinkingly bad. I hope you're in solid employment because you'd starve as a comedy writer. Jeeesusss, you'd clear a room quicker than a fire alarm.

Not a nice way to end the killie game. Wonder what happened

Seems a bit extreme to abandon the match, lack of medical cover because of the medical emergency or the individual concerned is a club official?

I don't think they abandoned the rangers game in January where the fan died.

Pretty sure the fan was getting heart massage at the side of the pitch which would have meant it was impossible/inhumane to carry on.

Crosshouse hospital is literally less than 5 minutes away from Rugby Park so I doubt medical cover would have been a problem ...

My point is that you should maybe be concentrating on your own clubs sad efforts this season instead of obsessing about the OF ... but each to their own.

Dundee have been relegated following the 1-1 draw with Aberdeen. At least they made a fight of it.

An article on the BBC about the switch to summer football says there are three options.Status quo, extended winter break or the season to run from April to October.
The current close-season runs from mid May to mid July. How can it be possible to have a five month close season?

a change to summer football, when exactly is summer?

it was bloody freezing at the Falkirk stadium yesterday.

I preferred the First Division anyway.

Obsessing. Sure, a post on a forum makes me obsessed. Toddle off, now.

Might not be a first division next year ...

Given that a large percentage of your posts are either about (the) Rangers or Celtic I think the "obsessed" remark is pretty accurate.

That would be correct if it wasn't, well, wrong.

Yeah, "Summer football" is a misnomer. No matter how you re-jig a 10 month season, you are still going to be playing either Nov/Dec or Feb/March.
Personally I would rather see the title and relegation deciders played in April & May than in November!

They didn't abandon the fa cup final in 2006 either. Very sad to hear the man has died. Thoughts with his family
