Watched Glasgows wee team celebrating their Amateur Scottish 4th Tier Irn Bru Cup win today, had a decent laugh at them.

I don't think they abandoned the rangers game in January where the fan died.

Pretty sure the fan was getting heart massage at the side of the pitch which would have meant it was impossible/inhumane to carry on.

Crosshouse hospital is literally less than 5 minutes away from Rugby Park so I doubt medical cover would have been a problem ...

My point is that you should maybe be concentrating on your own clubs sad efforts this season instead of obsessing about the OF ... but each to their own.

The current close-season runs from mid May to mid July. How can it be possible to have a five month close season?

Yeah, "Summer football" is a misnomer. No matter how you re-jig a 10 month season, you are still going to be playing either Nov/Dec or Feb/March.
Personally I would rather see the title and relegation deciders played in April & May than in November!
