Very sad to hear that the Killie fan died, thoughts are with his family R.I.P

Lyle Taylor won 1st division poty, Nicky Clark 2nd division and Lee Wallace 3rd division.

Bryan Prunty won goal of the season and a special merit award was giving to Craig Brown

SPL agree to:

a single merged league of 42 clubs, in line with the stated preference of SFL1 clubs
a 12-10-10-10 divisional structure
an all-through distribution model involving substantial redistribution to the second tier
a ‘pyramid’ for the entire game
play-offs involving team 11 in the SPL and teams 2, 3 and 4 in the division below
It'll be formally voted on later this month.

The devil is in the detail, but on the face of it there's not much to disagree with. Well, unless you're East Stirling but if they vote against it'll be patently obvious that it's out of self-interest.

I get a feeling St Mirren will vote no.

Willie Collum will referee the Scottish Cup Final. So far, there's an even split of Celtic and Hibs fans claiming the other will now win.

There will also be additional assistants behind the goals, a la the Champions League.

Jesus.

The thought of five SFA officials sponsored by Specsavers involved in the one game is just too much to take.

scottish football PREMIER LEAGUE
scottish football CHAMPIONSHIP
scottish football LEAGUE ONE
scottish football LEAGUE TWO

oh wait
that's EXACTLY like englands' .....

or here's another way

12-12-12-12 (need six more teams, have the old firm "colt" teams + four others)

play each other twice = 22 games
all leagues split 6-6
play each other twice = 10 games (for championships, promotions and relegations.
one directly up, one directly down, have playoffs like we have now, second-bottom plays second / third / fourth)

Rangers dont have enough players or couldnt afford two teams. The first team has a reserve side feel about it anyway

Not really followed the vote as it bores me, but if it is voted through and Dunfermline lose out to Forfar in the play-offs, do they then jump back up again as members of this new league

No. If this goes through, the resignations are taken off the table. They're only there for if nothing changes.

And they will probably do nothing, as they appear to do in the CL.

I was at the Brechin v Alloa game tonight. A fantastic 2-0 win for the Wasps.
