Dundee United say that over 9700 tickets have been sold for tomorrow. When they played Rangers for the final time the attendance was 9464.
A successful boycott by fans of The Rangers then. ![]() ![]()

Hope it all goes smoothly though, the last thing Scottish football needs is to be in the press for fighting . |

A dangerous game Dundee are playing here, hopefully the game will pass without incident, however if their is crowd trouble, Rangers will simply deny any of their supporters were present, and blame, "obsessed opposition fans" coming along stirring up trouble in Rangers name, then you may get real Rangers fans turning up just to cause trouble, safe in the knowledge Rangers wont get the blame as they had a boycott on and never sold any tickets.

If Rangers wanted to boycott, Dundee should have left them too it, not make a desperate grab for the money by trying to sell tickets on. Hope it all goes smoothly though, the last thing Scottish football needs is to be in the press for fighting . I'm not sure other supporters realise this, but Dundee United have always kept away end tickets to sell directly to opposition fans when we play Rangers or Celtic with absolutely no problems. And given the amount sold it wasn't down to finance, we're only talking about a couple of hundred tickets. Not selling tickets to Rangers fans may have meant away fans in the home end. Rangers fans will have one stand to themselves and the street entrance is only to fans with tickets. Unusually Tayside Police seem to have put in every measure possible to prevent trouble. |

It would've been a sell out or near to it, if the Gers had accepted an allocation from DUFC. As it stands, it isn't, but we'll take our share of the money anyway. Cheers, United.....
