To summarise, SFA happy to pay Potter what he is owed during the remainder of his contract but Potter doesn't want that, he want's what he is owed under the terms of his contract.

Sounds like they wanted Levein not to get another job during the time til the end of his contract.

A pay off is a compromise agreement, you let the employee go, the employee doesn't sue. Sounds like the SFA didn't want to put in their side of the agreement.

Why does everything have to turn into a complete farce when the SFA are involved? Managers get sacked all the time in football and pay-offs are agreed without it turning into a shambolic war of words played out in public.

Twice. The next league derby is in March as well. Anyone for 0-3 in the cup and 3-0 in the league?!

I am hoping Dundee v United will be the Saturday but I have a feeling it will be the Sunday with St Mirren v Celtic will be 1230 on the Saturday as Celtic will probably moan if they are playing Sunday with the Juventus return the following Wednesday

Cracking cup weekend and some cracking games coming up in the quarters.

This armageddon stuff isn't half bad.

Not really - the three games are nailed-on and Killie v Hibs is guaranteed to be on Sky as "third pick". It just remains to be seen which out of the derby and St Mirren v Celtic Sky was as their first.

Think Sky will go with St Mirren v Celtic as the Saturday early game. As pointed out it gives Celtic a wee bit longer before the second leg in Turin on the Tuesday. Also doesn;t give much travel problems for Celtic fans getting to Paisley for an earlier Saturday kick off.

Yes pretty much the case I am pretty sure it will be something like:

St Mirren v Celtic 1245 BBC 2nd March
Dundee v Dundee United 1230 Sky 3rd March
Killie v Hibs 1530 Sky 3rd March

You know you've got problems when both Colin Nish and John Baird score against you

Fair to say Neil Lennon is taking the piss out of Hugh Keevins' column from today.

Keevins is an excuse for a journalist.

Just watched the hibs highlights keeper saved them the day.

Been working all day but heard Williams saved us yet again. 1-0 win, we aren't at our best but we've scraped a win in a game which last season we'd have lost. So pleased though, just hope we can get scoring goals ahead of Killie away, it's a tough draw but it's not Celtic or Dundee Utd, wouldn't have fancied them.

Accies at Home would have been nice.

Something is wrong, I agree with Bill Leckie.

Tbf Nish didn't know much about his goal and by all accounts Baird has started to show some of the form that made him one of the best strikers in Division 1 couple of seasons ago.
Anyway we just need to take this thumping as a wake up call, pull up the socks and get back to maintaining our 5 point lead at the top of the league.
