We may still give him another offer, but tbh - he'll end up in the Championship.

The players must be at the end of their tether now with not getting paid on time month after month. It isn't exactly like they will be on great money either so I can quite imagine a few of them will be badly struggling.

He is 4th/5th at centre half for us now and the offer he received will probably have reflected that.

Good luck to the lad.

Another one on the way back from the bright lights of the US scene, just Miller to return now

Pretty much everything Boyd's detractors said about him when he left the SPL has been proven correct. Having a good goalscoring record at a relatively low level of football counts for very little when you make a step up, especially if your general play outside of the box is abysmal.

He's not even 30 yet and he's back where he started.

John Brown will be in the dugout at CP as interim manager of Dundee tomorrow.

Meanwhile ESPN are about to face the wrath of The Rangers.

Boyd is good at what he does which is poach goals against poor opposition. That is his entire game.

I wonder if he will ask to see the deeds?

What have they done?

Only contacting the police regarding sectarian singing during the first half.

Mr Hoose of the new Salmond Police Force won't like that.

I'm not sure how well that sits with me in all honesty.

Still, I'm sure FoCus will be there and if there have been sectarian songs then arrests will be forthcoming.

I see The Rangers have already released a statement condemning the signing.

Who would you rather have had in since you are basically starting to rebuild for next season?
Mark.

Could Caldwerwood have priced himself out of the job?
Mark.

Maybe, but a decent BOD could have sold it to him as a stepping-stone - he's more likely to get a bigger appointment from in a job than his current obscurity.

My mistake - Salmond's police force can't do anything, it's the English police and English law.

Although OBAF covers it - it will be very hard for a Scottish court to convict successfully a person where the crime is committed in England and that person is convicted in an English court.

Read some of the comments on that piece, Mark sounds calm compared to that.

Things is I think Dundee fans have a point. No-one expects a miracle, they just want a decent manager who'll maybe give them a shot at staying up or will get them promoted this year. I don't remember any Dundee fans wanting rid of Smith in the first place.
Mark.

Dundee supporters' clubs to hold a meeting and vote to leave the DFCSS.
