I can't help but laugh when Celtic go there and we get the paedophile stuff off them. Fans of a club who employed Graham Rix and who never sacked Craig Thomson who tried to groom young girls and meet up with them for sex.

Taking out the Celtic game....from the 4 SPL games that went ahead in this round of fixtures there was a combined attendance of over 42,000.

That's about 10,500 a game. Pretty decent figures.

Armageddon!

How on earth Stevenson got away with his challenge i'll never know. Hearts near the end had us worried a bit but even at that I felt we'd nick it. Doyle missed a glorious chance for us.

The main talking point is the scumbag within the Hibs support who spat on the ballboy, he was ejected. There was even a few eejits applauding him as he was thrown out. There is already a campaign on fb by Hearts fans to name and shame and to be honest there is arseholes in every support. Hearts were singing their filth again! They need pulled up....also a smoke bomb was thrown at the Hibs support. Although that may have been in retaliation to the ballboy incident. Just hope the few idiots tonight don't make the police think twice about the game to kick off at 7:45. Night derbies are always the best for atmosphere.

Every support has their moronic element but Hearts blaming us totally is unacceptable, they weren't great tonight either and it wasn't so long ago fans attempted to attack Riordan and Mixu on the pitch and of course the Neil Lennon incident.”

You must be happy though 4 points against celti and hearts is not bad at all well done !

The Gorgie Boys.....ala Billy Boys......fenian blood etc:

Scum!

Yeah they aren't a bright bunch at Hearts, Hibs fans were singing to them last couple derbies "Jimmy Saville he's one of your own"

Yeah it's an excellent return, I shouldn't really complain but the quality of football (in general) has been very poor but one major improvement from last season is that we can keep clean sheets. We had been scoring goals but have had a bit of a drought recently. Although Griffiths scoring against Celtic may regain his confidence but how much longer will we have him?

Still 2 points of second place is where we aim to be. I said at the start of the season realistically we should always aim for europe but top 6 would be an improvement. Just think if we can get January out the way holding onto key players and maybe bringing in an addition, there was talk of Kenny Miller on loan before then we may kick on and get a grip of 2nd place.

Well Dundee, Ross County, St Johnstone and St Mirren in 4 of our next 5 league games we should aim for 10-12 points from the 4 above. We have already lost to both promoted clubs and just beaten the champions so nothing is a given. We also drew 2-2 from 2-0 down v the Champions. Unbeaten in derby matches too.

Scheduling is a joke too, Sunday 27th Jan - Aberdeen away 1230 kick off then Wedneday 30th Jan - Ross County away 1945 kick off.

Just watched the highlights, that was a terrible challenge and should have been a straight red.

I thought that Hearts should have had a penalty for the McPake challenge in the first half.

Highlights? I've got a few Jambo friends so thought I'd watch my first SPL game of the season and it was honestly one of the worst games of football I've seen in my life

Have a look at the highlights on the BBC site.

If it was a terrible game it has been well edited.

Dundee captain Stephen O'Donnell has torn his cruciate ligament, which will in all probability rule him out for the rest of the season.

Horrible news. Not a good start to 2013 for Dundee

HK, have to say I'm delighted for Hibs this year, mate

Grampian Police launch investigation into who caused the trouble during the recent old firm game at Pittodrie which resulted in 18 seats being damaged, some totally destroyed.

Look forward to the in depth analysis on this one.

Can only be minutes until the Scottish government announce a summit.

The summit must be closer after the behaviour of this pitch invader at the Edinburgh derby.

he should keep his job. if Rangers had not been dumped they would be in division 1. He should be judged on those standards

I have never heard the term "old firm" being used to describe anything other than a Rangers v Celtic game.

The old New Firm is the new Old Firm.

If Celtic ever play The Rangers again it will be in a Glasgow derby match.

Arghhh, right, is that the latest propaganda that's been thought up over at the celtic forums?

LOL.

A lot of us, on both sides, haven't used the term for years as we don't want to be linked to the other side which that term does.

And to quote the Celtic website

Quote:
“the last ever derby against Rangers at Paradise”

The 'Old Firm' can no longer be used to refer to Celtic and Rangers as Rangers have gone and been replaced.

So, as I said, the old New Firm becomes the new Old Firm.

Daft to be honest. The Old Firm will always be linked to Rangers and Celtic now. No matter what your view on everything that has happened people will refuse to call Aberdeen v Dundee United the Old Firm match.

I do agree with Glasgow Derby being more appropriate by the way, and I do agree with both teams standing on their own two feet without ever leaning on each other the way we both used to

Except I don't think it is when we've had Chuckles Green saying that the refusal of a CVA meant the end of Rangers and the history the now former, his opinion, team had.

Sadly Celtic have no real rivals at the moment. Hibs have Hearts, Dundee have United, St Johnstone and Aberdeen count Dundee and United as their rivals.

Unless Morton get promoted maybe St Mirren and Celtic could make more out of that game? Either that or matches against Motherwell. They are only 9 and 10 miles from Celtic Park as the crow flies.
