I actually think the SPL does have serious financial issues, but I don't really understand how a Rangers fan can gloat about it. The other SPL sides are innocent victims in all this. The only fair thing to do was have Rangers start again as a new club/entity/team/business (I couldn't care less what you call it) from the Third Division. However that deprives every SPL club of revenue that they'd budgeted for. It's no surprise there are now financial issues.

Rather than gloating, Rangers should actually be apologising.
i wasnt gloating, i said i knew i said id laugh , but didnt think it was as bad

spl clubs brought it on themselves , they voted us out cos they thought we would get into div1 and it backfired on them
fan power eh , hurt your own teams more than us

The second half was boring as hell, semi final to come.

Probably rather wait for Celtic in the final

Poor decision for their first goal - the ball was well over the line for our throw before the free-kick was given. But then if you can't defend set-pieces...

I thought we put in a good effort, and there's certainly a lot more fight about the team, but the lack of a quality striker keeps showing. A decent finisher and we might have taken it to a replay, or even won.

Agree Mark best I thought you played in the derbies this season.

However you are a bit short in genuine quality required for the spl I feel. United are not a great side but there is big difference in quality between the two sides with the likes of Daly, Mackay-Stevens and Russell when fit

Nowhere more so than at Celtic Park where supporters are struggling to stay awake on match days.

Can I ask a serious question to the Rangers supporters on the forum: Are you embarrassed by Green? He really comes across a a complete balloon. I'm not joking but I think he may end up worse than Craig White by the time he is finished
In a word- NO.

What a phenomenal cup tie.....Buzzing! Hibs support was superb! They blocked out first 4 rows thinking we wouldn't need them but it was rammed! Game had everything. GGTTH......Leigh Leigh Super Leigh....33 goals in 68 Hibs games! Astonishing.

Kenny Shiels believes Kilmarnock lost because Hibs played the Scottish way whereas Killie played the right way.

His ego continues to outgrow the club.

You mean a media hack continuing the pro ibrox agenda. Only in scotland would you get pundits and journalists calling for a new club to be parachuted to the top division.

Or Adrian Durham on Talksport, purporting to hold a serious discussion on Scottish football last week.

...everyone was out to get Rangers...disgrace they were booted out the SPL for dubous reasons ( couldn't get his head round the old co in liquidation / new co business...and even if there were good reasons, a special case should be made to stick them in the SPL, because err they're Rangers and it will save Scottish football ( he did manage to avoid mentioning "Armageddon" ).

But yes, some of the Scottish media, which should understand things much better, can be as bad if not worse.

Attendances were already falling even when Rangers were in the SPL. Having them back in the SPL won't make a difference.

Celtic's total attendance this season across all competitions is higher than at this time last season.

Club still sold more season tickets than any other club in Scotland.

Provan like MacLeod are the ex-players Lennon doesn't like - they're only ever at the club when they're working or want something (meet Larsson etc..)

I like Davie Provan I think he is an excellent co-commentator and he gets a lot of work on English games now.

Surprised at him banging the rangers drum although he is a fan going way back

It's quite unbelievable that anyone, particularly one presumes a vaguely aware Rangers supporter, should still spout such pish.

Rangers went into liquidation, taking themselves out of the SPL.

The new co Rangers applied to take up the gap in the SPL, and were not "voted in". It would have been pretty unpredented and unfair on other clubs to have voted in this new co.

Rangers brought it on themselves they PUT THEMSELVES INTO ADMINISTRATION and when they did it they knew they would never get a CVA aka they asked themselves to be Liquidated.

If Rangers wanted to survive they would have paid PAYE and went into Administration sooner rather than to beasically attack HMRC by giving them absolutley nothing and in turn ensuring HMRC would never accept a CVA.

Sevco were rejected wanting voted IN TO THE SPL. Nobody was voted out.

The crowds havent went down as much as the press make out either

Celtic down 5,000
Hearts down 200
Hibs up 600
Aberdeen up 600
Dundee Utd down 100
Motherwell down 900
Kilmarnock down 700
St Mirren down 100
St Johnstone down 300
Inverness up 200
Ross County are down 500 on Dunfermline

Meaning the 10 other SPL Clubs attendances are on average down 900 which isnt that much.

The only big differance is Dundee's 6,700 average to Rangers 46,600 average.

Infact condsidering Rangers used to take about 3,000 away fans more to away grounds than Dundee then home crowds within the 10 SPL crowds are actually probably up allround.

Puma is better than Nike?

I see Green has been taking those pills again.
What big clubs and countries are with Puma these days? I can think of Italy, Borussia Dortmund and Feyenoord but that is about it. There must be others?

Then you have Nike who have Brazil, Netherlands, Portugal, England, USA, Celtic, Man U, Arsenal, Barcelona, Juve, Porto, Inter Milan, PSG, PSV, Boca Jnrs etc etc.

Still, there will be some of the The Rangers support who will lap it up.

Man City are joining Nike too next season.

All the big clubs have Nike and Adidas. Umbro is like poor mans Nike and Puma poor mans Adidas in terms of Football kits

May I just add, Puma do a cracking Sporting Lisbon top. Really good quality with a great feel. I think Mr Green should wear one at the next The Rangers game, just to show off the variety of ranges available.

Hence why England are switching to Nike kits - then Nike sold Umbro.

His ego's outgrown Scotland, possibly even the UK, never mind Kilmarnock.
