No matter what your view on everything that has happened people will refuse to call Aberdeen v Dundee United the Old Firm match.
Like my opinion on anything ever mattered!

Except I don't think it is when we've had Chuckles Green saying that the refusal of a CVA meant the end of Rangers and the history the now former, his opinion, team had.

Sadly Celtic have no real rivals at the moment. Hibs have Hearts, Dundee have United, St Johnstone and Aberdeen count Dundee and United as their rivals.

Unless Morton get promoted maybe St Mirren and Celtic could make more out of that game? Either that or matches against Motherwell. They are only 9 and 10 miles from Celtic Park as the crow flies.
Didn't the new clubs current PR guru also explain that when the old club were liquidated that was the end of them?

So the new clubs current Chairman and current PR chief have both admitted that the old club ended.

Grampian Police launch investigation into who caused the trouble during the recent old firm game at Pittodrie which resulted in 18 seats being damaged, some totally destroyed.

Look forward to the in depth analysis on this one.
Strangly I have missed the report of this 'riot' in the Scottish media.

No doubt Keith Jackson will have it in his review of 2013.

I had forgotten about Traynor writing that.

Horrible news. Not a good start to 2013 for Dundee

HK, have to say I'm delighted for Hibs this year, mate
Thanks Uriah, I just hope we can continue to push on. The january period with the transfer window is key for us. We are in a great position so no reason why we can't find 2nd. Was speaking to Eoin Doyle tonight as he was away home for a bit and he says the derby was among the worst games he'd played in. Great atmosphere though. He says he's hoping to recharge the batteries and come back scoring goals for us. I have to admit I wasn't a fan but this season he's certainly done well and scored some vital goals.

The summit must be closer after the behaviour of this pitch invader at the Edinburgh derby.

That's a 3rd eye moment if Soccer Am still do it

I always remember being at Tynecastle for the Hibs v St Johnstone league cup semi when we beat them AET and there was a streaker who came on, a big fat bald man and when he tried to jump back over the gate to get back to his seat he fell over it whacking his privates

He wouldn't have said that if he'd have scored that chance!

I remember the streaker coming on the pitch from the Dick Donald when Celtic were up there. It was a cold night and and Lennon gave the guy the pinky salute.

But their fans still have an awful lot to say about Rangers.

Usually as Rangers fans keep reminding everyone that they still exist - otherwise I doubt they would be mentioned

Is that Rangers or The Rangers/Sevco5088/Rangers Internations Football Club?

Rangers are in liquidation after all.

I went to a cracking game in the Highland League today as Cove Rangers beat Nairn County 3-1. Given the games in hand Nairn have Cove really needed the win.

Proper blood and thunder football.

You must have missed where I posted this 28 hours ago.

Top tier sides are away on holiday.

Anyway, drawing with Elgin at Ibrox!! ROFLMAO. If your manager wasn't a major shareholder he'd have been binned a while ago.

Yeah my thoughts exactly

What's the atmosphere and attendances like? I've seen Edinburgh City and Spartans occasionally and it seems more physical and more like you say blood and thunder.

Too many "pretty boys" in the higher leagues! You can't slide in a challenge these days without it being a booking or a foul. All this intent rubbish etc:

When I go to see Highland League matches it is either Cove Rangers or Inverurie Locos I go to see although I've not been to see Locos this season.

Crowds at Cove are normally around the 150 mark although yesterday I'd say the crowd was around 300 with a decent support coming down from Nairn.

Atmosphere wise there isn't really that much except when a goal is scored or there is a contentious decision.

Your best players are Shiels, Templeton, Black, McCulloch and Wallace only Wallace would get in a non Celtic diddy dream team of the rest of Scotland.

Randolph
Watson
Reynolds
Gunning
Wallace
McGinn
Law
Shinnie
Mackay-Steven
Russell
Griffiths

The teams yous are playin have 18 stone binmen up front that make Lee McCulloch look like Jon Daly lol

No wonder Inverness leathered yous

The Celtic reserves of

Thomson
Miller
Fraser
Findlay
Chalmers
Herron
Irvine
McGeouch
Twardzik
George
Watt

Would win the 3rd Division without breaking sweat.
