High court rules Craig Whyte misled ticketus and will have to pay them £18m.

Might explain why the tapes are leaking out now.

Question is where did the duping stop?

With the SPL, Second and Third Division titles all pretty much decided weeks ago the only competitive league this season has been the First Division.
Tonight's game at Firhill is massive and I will be there supporting Morton, a game which will go a long way to deciding who goes up. It's a must win for Morton as a win for Thistle would make them odds on favourites for the title.
My nerves have been jangling all day, it is going to be a cracker and should be a big crowd and great atmosphere.

also the rangers comedy show continues .....

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-22099662

Police have carried out a series of raids relating to the purchase of Rangers Football Club by Craig Whyte from Sir David Murray.

Police Scotland said they had "carried out a number of searches" at addresses in both Scotland and England.

The statement said: "These searches related to both domestic and business premises.

"This remains an ongoing investigation, and no further information can be provided at this stage".

A spokesman for Mr Whyte, who bought the club from former owner Sir David Murray, said Mr Whyte was in Monaco and was puzzled over today's raids, adding that he had no idea what they related to.

The spokesman also said Mr Whyte had consistently offered to speak to the police about their investigation, even as recently as this week, and that they have declined.

So with all this going on the usual suspects are still going to tell us that scottish football needs 'rangers'.

The old club and new club are nothing but a stain on scottish football this is what the story should be. They are an embarrassment!!!

Rumour has it this isn't a Police Scotland led operation.

Absolutely gutted after last night, too many of our players just didn't show up, really don't know what's going with Michael tidser he has been our best player this season but the last few weeks he's lost his form.

If Partick hadn't scored the game had 0-0 written all over it and that wouldn't have been good enough either, Fox in partick's goal never had a save to make and our keeper Derek gaston never had anything to do for the majority of the game.

Still 2nd is our best finish in a long time, hopefully the team keep their heads up and the season doesn't just fizzle out.

It was always going to be a big ask to win at Firhill, and it looked like a set piece was going to be our best chance of scoring against a pretty solid back 4 for Thistle. Unfortunately Michael Tidser's deliveries were poor by his standards and Peaso spent too much time claiming for a free kick every time he lost the ball.
We did not lose the title because of last night but more to do with losing to average teams like Hamilton and Raith Rovers and the disastrous defeat by Dumbarton at Cappielow.
Anyway congratulations to Thistle and good luck in the SPL.

I dont know if anyone will remember me asking if anyone knew about a proposed Rangers Legends V Man Utd Legends game a couple of months back? Well, Mystic Cantona was spot on again. Its happening on the Holiday Monday, May 6th with a 2pm kick off.

"The Rangers legends side, managed by Walter Smith and captained by Richard Gough, features a number of players from the nine-in-a-row era of the late 80s and early 90s.

Among those turning out will be present boss Ally McCoist, Brian Laudrup, Arthur Numan, Lorenzo Amoruso, Michael Mols, Jorg Albertz, Gordon Durie, Alex Rae and Marvin Andrews.

United, managed by former Old Trafford hero Bryan Robson, will field a team which includes Edwin Van Der Sar, Denis Irwin, Dwight Yorke, Quinton Fortune, Jesper Blomqvist and David May."

The Milan game last year was really good but fate farts in my face once again. I'll not be in Glasgow again until the following weekend for the Ricky Burns fight and cant really justify being there on the Monday and staying for that too. Typical!

I was going to head down for that myself until I saw who his opponent was.

I've got The Stone Roses in June and am trying to arrange a break away as well so I should keep my money for that. I fancy going to Ibiza to see Bastille at Ibiza Rocks but I am really getting too old to be going to Ibiza these days.

Green is away shortly, got to be.

£5m wouldn't be too bad a return for a years work though, if the share price doesn't fall any further that is.
