Vengeful pathetic spite on others, who had nothing to do with where Rangers find themselves today. Rangers collapsed from within and just about all their problems are self inflicted with the various murky characters who helped put them there and then these with much more mouth than money when real help was needed to get out.”

I totally understand the bitterness from Rangers fans but i think its directed in completely the wrong area.

The one thing i dont get is the continued desire to see the SPL clubs fail and the references to how pathetic it is to have a club in Div 3 with the biggest attendances.

Rangers are a massive club with a huge fan base who are artificially placed in Div 3 - what do they expect to happen?

Rangers HAD to be punished and demoted. As it stands i think they have got off VERY lightly - not the fans - they dont deserve ANY of this, but the club itself.

The reason for the "its a new club" mentality from other fans isnt an attempt to have a cheap shot at Rangers fans, or at least i dont think it is. It is simply trying to enforce some sort of punishment on the club for what has gone before. If we accept that it is possible to spend your way to the top, go bust, not pay anyone what they are owed and simply re-invent yourself under the same banner in the same ground with the same fans and be the same club, is that really a punishment?

My heart goes out to the genuine Rangers fans, i have mates who have been gutted by the last 18 months, the likes of SCSS on here as well. These people dont deserve any of this. The club itself, on the other hand? Yes, they deserve it all and more in my view.

Rangers have suffered a lot. Would anyone else really want to go through what we've been through - and are still going through? If you think it's deserved, so be it. But let's not underplay it.

As for not paying what you owe, businesses can shed debt in various ways. It's unfortunate for the creditors - but that's the law of the land. A CVA is another way to shed debt and various teams have been involved in that, some of them more than once. Just to put things in perspective.

Bit like that team in Div 3 - paying their players ££££ every week to play against postmen and builders

But as you say, Celtic have started and ended the season as champions!!!

Congratulations to the Mighty Glasgow Celtic and the fabulous Neil Lennon!

It had some lyrics of The Blue Sea Of Ibrox and on the ship a reference to the SAS operation that saw 3 members of the IRA murdered in Gibraltar.

Iniesta on tonight’s game.

Quote:
“There are many questions about whether we will find it intimidating but after Celtic I don’t fear anywhere. If you can go and play at a full Celtic park on champions league night then you can play anywhere.

The fans create a crazy atmosphere like nothing I have ever heard – I doubt even the Allianz Arena can compete with that.

I do hope in the future we can draw Celtic again as even though we lost its one of the best stadiums to play football in the world.”
