The rumoured Celebrity Big Brother line up hardly makes it must watch TV, with the likes of David Icke and Brigid Neilsen (who, who?), it makes Celebrity Big Brother 2 look like Hollywood.

However, I'm quite enjoying the mix of old characters in Big Brother Panto and feel the relationship between the ten people who've all pretty much been through the same situation is interesting. The observations on each other, and there own celebrity status, are also enlightning.

I'd much rather they had combined the two ideas and gone for a Big Brother All Stars in the New Year, moving in ten former housemates (the selection for BB Panto works really well!) into the BB house and putting them through the process of nominations and evictions to find the Champion of Evictees.

With 2 different shows we get twice as much fun.

Much as I love the idea of a BB Allstars programme I would imagine that most of the former housemates who we'd actually want to see in there wouldn't be prepared to do it.

First I've heard of Brigid Neilsen.

Isn't she the 6 foot blond bombshell who was married to Sylvester Stallone and starred in such classics as Barbarian Thingy and Red Wotsit.

If so, she's a Hollywood Star.............

And fit as a butchers dog.

She was in Red Sonja with Swarznegger and Rocky IV. Wasn't she also in the second Beverly Hills Cop?

Not sure about the BHC2............but Red Sonja was good..........

She's far too big a star for BB, that's for sure.

She must be very rich as well............apart from her own film earnings, I'm guessing Sly paid her a fortune when he traded her in for someone his own size.

It is still possible to make a very entertaining show without the stars. If this was a three week venture on mainstream Channel 4, let's say we can put ten contestants in.

Craig (winner of Series 1), Bubble (shock evictee from Series 2), Federico (controversial contestant from Series 4), Goldie (Celebrity from CBB2) and Ray (runner-up in Series 4). Anna (runner-up in series 1), Vanessa (Celebrity from CBB1), Emma (Kicked out of series 5), Michelle (for the Geordie girl conflict with Federico) and Sophie (replacement in Series 3.)

I'd watch that, as that'd be a hell of a mixture for three weeks, with only getting Craig from BTR's sloppy seconds whilst also not reusing Panto stars.
