Perhaps she thought it was to much competition....
It would be interesting to see his Bethany has grown, she must be mid teens now. Having said that, she could turn out to be like Faye. 
I dislike Sarah Lou intensely so hopefully we will never see her again. In fact a quick phone call to Gail to say Sarah has died would be a good storyline for me!
