6.0.2: to update or not?
I have an iPhone 5; my first smartphone. It's currently running iOS 6.0.1.
I've read the tales on the Apple forum and elsewhere re the 6.0.2 update causing battery drain issues in some cases. Other than in rural locations I've never had a problem with wifi issues - which this update was supposed to fix - and altho it isn't my beloved old Nokia, the battery life has been okay. Do I risk this update, or should I wait for the next one? Or is it not advisable / possible to skip downloading a particular update? Thanks for any replies. |

6.1 is expected early next year (possibly Jan / Feb) so if you're not experiencing any WiFi issues then hold off if you want.
I'm running 6.1 beta 4 on my iPhone 5 and I have no battery issues at all. |
