free ringtone problem / t610

For the third time in the last two weeks I received a message to my phone from vodafone offering me a free ringtone. This time i neglected to take it. However, my phone is a ericsson t610 and at the top of the screen there is a text message icon with a w on it. The message deleted itself automatically but the icon remains there. Any ideas as to how i get rid of it?

I had this a couple of weeks ago on my T630. IT DID MY HEAD IN! Then i found where the message was hiding. Its a 'Wap Push' message. If you go into the Menu, Then Messaging, then go down to 'Wap Push' and go to the inbox! It should be in there, just delete it and the icon goes
