CS will Bethany be aged?
At the minute Bethany should be 13 but with Sarah returning could she be aged a few years so she could mix with the other teens from the show?

She's 13 in June. Plenty of story potential there without insulting the viewers by aging her up.

As someone pointed out on another thread, Bethany doesn't turn 13 until June next year as she was born in 2000. The papers have mentioned the year 2000 yet they keep saying Bethany is now 13. It seems they've already aged her by a year.

Indeed. I mean, Tina took over as 12 year old Sarah when she was 17 herself. She never looked 17, she didn't look 12/13 either, but she didn't look overdone for the age she was supposed to be.

Be interesting to see how old the girl is who'll play Bethany, though - and how old she LOOKS.

Holly in Hollyoaks is 14. She's just been replaced by an 18 year old who looks about 21!
Totally ridiculous.
But as this is Corrie and not HO, presumably they'll be more realistic!

Sarah was born in February 1987.

As she was only 12 when she fell pregnant, they can't do a lot where ageing Bethany is concerned, without ageing Sarah as well!

Yeah, wasn't she playing a teenager again in Waterloo Road not that long ago, she barely seems to age.

It will be most likely Summer when they arrive back on screen if they do! So Bethany will be 13.

Bethany is 13 in JUNE 2013. So she's still 12.

Tina Brien was playing a 16 year old schoolgirl last year.

She won't cos she's not an actress, just someone who played Bethany as a toddler and small girl, saying nothing!
Just like Tina replaced the girl who'd played Sarah since birth but didn't speak for 12 years.

They'd better make sure that the actress playing Bethany doesn't look older than Tina, as Tina looks so young for her age it's very possible! I'm assuming that Bethany will be recast, although I may be wrong..
