Finally, next week we are beginning to get back to normal with the US tv shows appearing in the schedules again.
However, as usual they all seem to be scheduled for the same times.
eg Sun 6th Jan at 9pm... series 2 Hawaii Five O,Hell on Wheels, Mr Selfridige and Ripper Street ( and yes, I know the last 2 are British) but you get the idea. Also Thursday ay 9 seems to be a popular spot as well.
To try and easr some of the scheduling I try to watch a couple of series' at US pace as well normally those I cant wait for in the UK like True Blood, Dexter, The Good Wife, Vampire Diaries.

Schedulers are pushing the viewing public toward torrent sites and then call them criminals until we get a PVR that records 5 shows in HD simultaneously we won't get anywhere.

Roll on pirate bay etc as that's the way the UK and US networks want us to go.

And it's all ad free too

Broadcast quality HD, ad free downloads, from Sky's on-demand service has helped with the clashes.

We don't even bother recording Sky1/Living/Atlantic off air for most programmes.

If you're referring to freeview then maybe it's time to invest in a second freeview box with record-to-usb-stick ability, that'd help when there ain't no +1 channel (like for BBC1)

Sky will surely soon have to release a 4 lnb box that can tape 4 programmes?
