Can't tell if you're serious or trolling by that last line, but no, I've not had any issues with texts on Three.

How do you know it's not an issue at Orange with sending texts to Three, as they need to have configuration and connectivity to Three as well.

If other networks aren't having problems sending to Three then it would made it most likely an Orange issue.

Because Orange need to be able to connect to Three, they will have a configuration and connection in place to Three's servers.

If everyone else can message Three fine then it could well be an Orange issue. I'm not having issues receiving texts on Three and never have had, the network has been very reliable on the whole.

Right ok..
But it could be three's servers that are to blame just as easy..

Plus Orange are a much better network than Three..

Not according to Root Metrics, SMS delivery is faster and more reliable on Three in every area they have tested so far.

I find 3 to be unbeatable, Infact in my town 3 is better than EE's 4g.

No they used standard off the shelf handsets bought from operators stores. They travelled 1000's of miles and tested indoors and outdoors, testing making and receiving calls, keeping them open for 2 minutes, sending and receiving SMS and using data services.

Three has performed as the best network in virtually every area tested so far. Which City are you in - they may have surveyed yours?

Orange came last for SMS reliability and performance in a lot of the tests if you look independently, rather than pre-judge from prejudice or old experiences from years ago.

Well this certainly looks like a serious issue..
I first noticed the problem Saturday..

I wonder if they are aware of a problem?
Giving its holiday this issue could go on for days to come..

What city are you in Kitt? - I'll link you to the independent tests if it's one of the cities that have been done already.

They've only done the cities at the moment, Birmingham is the city they have done nearest to you, where Orange came last in the SMS tests.

They are working in Leicester at the moment. You might be judging Three by an old experience, it has really come along recently.

How recently were you with Three? Reasoned opinion instead of blatant trolling please.

Having looked at the coverage checker for you it seems there where you are there is a lot of 'outdoor only' coverage for you.

Doesn't blanket mean Three are crap.

The interesting thing from the Birmingham report which is hot off the press is that Orange customers can expect a failure of 1 in 25 calls, the highest rate of any network.

SMS performance also the worst and for mobile internet they are the second worst.

Three has consistently performed the best overall in the vast majority of areas surveyed.

Ah so what you meant to say what that Three isn't a shit network, it's just that the little sleepy village you live in doesn't have good Three coverage.

You also assumed the fault is with them *because they are shit*, when in fact it could equally be with Orange.

Oh come on..
Why are three so cheap?

Cheap and Nasty springs to mind..

Thats why they give you this" all you can eat data" they know full well nobody will ever get coverage to hammer it..

Seconded - I've been texting like mad this morning from my Three phone and have received replies from all networks bar Orange. The Orange users are there (one rung me to ask if I'd received a text from them) but texts to them aren't getting through.

However it's rather clear that that's not the answer the OP was hoping for...
