EE Duff Duff Count 2013

EE Duff Duff Count 2013
Tomorrow (1st January) will herald the start of 2013- so is the perfect time to start a duff duff count for the year.

The duff duff goes to the character who appears in the very last shot of an episode when the drum beats or Julias theme go- and if it is an object etc shown then it will be the last character shown in the ep.

A few years ago, EE did a documentary of a duff duff count of the 1st 24 and a bit years until 25/12/09.

Many thanks to dullag for allowing me to use a similar format in his character appearance count and tomorrow will see the first duff duff of 2013 (The first duff duff of 2012 was a joint scene between David Wicks and Pat Evans)

So, who will be 2013 King or Queen of the Duff Duffs?

All will be revealed on the last ep of the year- but for now keep following!!

I believe there is an up to date duff duff count somewhere on Walford Web (added the episode from 24/12/09 until today) although I can't see there being much difference from the top 5, probably Pat has over taken Pauline and possibly Dot too.

Looking forward to seeing this count though. I did one for 2012 but forgot all about it.

I didn't realise they had one but I thought it would be good to have one on here.

BIB: Most probably, the only reason really the top 5 got their rankings was because they were long running characters so were more likely to get a duff duff

I'd imagine zainab would have made the top 100 snce then

Wasn't there one of these for this year as well? Who won?

Or it might have been character appearences, who was it that won that one as well?

She's already Princess of Walford and Queen of the Cab- does she need to be Queen of the Duff Duffs too?

I can imagine it would be her- fitting to have the duff duff of the anniversary of a death of a legend to be of a legend (if that makes sense)

Derek won the appearance count. Alfie & Phil tied in 2nd place. I'll be posting an update later because there were a few mistakes on the cast lists.

An FM did start one but abandoned it.

I'm not suprised. If there was ever an overused character, it was Derek. He was even in SL's he wouldn't normally have any connection to!

Alfie suprised me though. I guess with all the shagger stuff he did get quite a lot of episodes.

And Phil is no suprise at all
