"A big storm is on its way, everyone takes cover except Richard who "lived through the great storm of 87 when his dad's shed roof blew off", and there's been a murder.....

No news on the lizard, but a rubber duck is apparently involved in this week's case so that will have to do, and apparently Richard shows a "softer side to Camille"

Matthew Horne is GuestStarOfTheWeek.

Enjoy.....

So by the sounds of it we have to wait until next week too see if they finally get it on. Bloody suspense... I hate it!

was that stevenson screen the wrong way? I thought the door faced north so the sun didn't shine on the instruments?

At the end at Richard's shack, Camille looked smoking in that black top and cream skirt.

Another good one. Camille and Richard getting closer and a good story. And the two female meteorology students were rather nice.

So the shadows in the photos went the wrong way?

...And yes,Camille gorgeous. Undecided on preference between tight jeans and tight cream skirt.

Great series. One of my few "must watch" programs.

Camille does some great expressions.

Like when the research student asked something along the lines of “you don’t have sex with someone unless you love them, do you?”

Also, in the preview of next week’s episode, when Richard says he can go back to London.

I’m still very unsure how, or if, they can sensibly develop the Richard/Camille relationship. Once they “do”, then the whole “will they/wont they” tension is lost

I'm hoping that Camille will throw a big tantrum next week when Richard announces he's back off to London!!!

When the two of them were sheltering from the storm and talking was I the only one who had the feeling that Camille would have been receptive if Richard had leaned over and kissed her?

Not always that good at reading body language but it seemed that way.

Oh yes, I think that was very much the case!

Another really good episode. Like Easter Sundae, I do wonder where they are going to take Camille and Richard's relationship. Had we not been given a 3rd series (which I'm really happy about! ). then I would have thought that any possibility of Richard returning to England would precipitate something!

Obviously, we know that Richard's never been married, but I'm beginning to wonder if he's ever managed to have any kind of romantic relationship at all?

I really hoped the duck was involved in it somehow! They should have just left it out the storyline completely.

Even as a straight woman, I have to say she did look very nice in that outfit.

I think that, too.

It was so sweet when Camille said "You've got me" and Richard just looked confused and embarrassed.

And at the end he was still going on about his dad's shed roof.

I hope Fidel passes his exams!

My bet is, Richard will say he is leaving, and everyone will think he has gone, but in series 3 it will be revealed that he changed his mind at the last minute and decided to stay.

(I'm usually totally wrong about these things, though).

Re bib. I thought they'd pretty much said that, even if not in so many words, during last weeks episode when the Neil Pearson character was goading him.

Some actors get some pretty good jobs. Matthew Horne for example (and Kim Thomson last week) do a few minutes work until they are killed off, and have a nice break on a Carribbean island thrown in. I remember in the very first episode of series 1, someone I recognised (his name has slipped my mind at present) playing the part of a drunk in the station lock up. He wasn’t even in the storyline.

Also, the series must be doing wonders for Guadeloupe’s tourist industry.
