Why cant we download an app for this site ??

I stumbled across the trial for the app !!

It seems at the moment , that the website doesnt see me using my iphone sometimes & gives me the Desktop version

And AV Forums allows me through my iphone to upload pictures. That would really help fix peoples problems.
In AV Forums I just click on a ' + ' symbol

Is there an app for the site ? AFAIK, there is no official app for the forum bit at least due to issues with advertising and lack there of.

I'm not aware of any specific app, but if you scroll towards the bottom left of the page you should find an option in the purple bar which allows you to switch between mobile and full versions of the forums.

yes , this is what I saw. Sorry about the confusion

an App is really called for
