Hi, my in warranty Motorola Defy phone reboots often (don't they all!) and I've booked it online for repair. A company called SBE in Kent are the authorised repair depot. It says not to return SIM or memory cards but anyone know if I am meant to send the battery and back cover?

I ask this becuase I know that with Vodafone (corporate) they say to retain everything except the main phone body iteself.

if it does then don't send it.
if it doesn't mention it then send them.

Yeah that's what I guessed, it says to not send SIM and memory cards so assume they want the phone, back cover and battery. I've never had to send one my own phones off for repair and wondered if anyone had used SBE before? they seem to be do repairs for all the big phone makers.

Have used SBE a few weeks ago for my wife's Sony Xperia U - was done quickly and the phone has been fine since.

When she sent her phone she had to send the battery, charger and cable but they did not want the SIM or back cover.

Thanks Alan, did you just send via Royal Mail or use recorded delivery there and back?

With Sony they let you send it via Royal Mail as freepost - I just took it to the Post Office for a proof of delivery receipt and they sent it back via Recorded Delivery
