Electric Six - Radio Ga Ga
*Jon B - Somerset*
24-12-2004
This might have been mentioned somewhere else...I did look.

I love Queens music and I thought if anyone was gonna rip a song from them it wouldn't be good, but I am just loving this song. It's even on repeat on my Winamp.

The video is a bit distasteful in parts but still, it is a good song!

I haven't seen the video, but if it's anything like Danger High Voltage, I can quite imagine!

I think its a poor cover and the video is just sick.

Shame cos I usually love Electric Six.

The video and song are both very good, shame it charted poorly.

Where did it chart? I didn't see much promotion for the single. I didn't even know it was out yet.

Number 11.....not THAT bad I suppose.....their lowest so far though I think (did Dance Commander get top 10...cant' remember?)

Well, I thought they did a clever thing.....

They released a single, Vibrator, download only....only to download it you had to enter your E-mail address....

So they then they sent the news about Radio Ga Ga to everyone who downloaded the Vibrator too.....and as we know free downloads always will get more listeners than paid singles eh..., so all those people would potentially buy the single...

Well, that was the idea.......don't think they promoted Vibrator enough in the first place though....backfired a bit perhaps...

I doubt they were the first to come up with this strategy....but err....gotta say something eh?
