I used to carry two phones and a pager, in total about 4 different numbers (line 2 etc). But I found it too time consuming working between so many different devices. These days I have one phone and 1 number. Its a freephone number and it just routes to where I am. I send a text or call a the control panel to set pre programmed numbers for where I am gonna be.

My business partner carries 2 phones and a pda! He is like a walking mast!

I have 3 phones at the moment, and 3 sim cards. One of hte phones is an old one though, and i'll probably just get rid of it. I have 2 O2 sim cards for 300 free texts a month (i'm a heavy user), that share a phone, and my main Monthly billed Orange (on the old Everyday 50 tariff) SPV E200.

Gives me 3p texts and 15p calls to any network.

Also means i'm likely to be in signal 99% of the time. If one is out other will probably be in

Anyone who carries more than one must want their head testing! One guy at work has FOUR - 02, Vodaphone, Orange and T-Mobile!

I have 2, a Nokia 3220 on T-Mobile Relax Pay as you Go and LG U8120 on Threepay, I also have an Orange PAYG sim card, a spare T-Mobile sim card which i got through the offer as well but used up the credit and i dont like the number so used the one what i got sent to someone else and ive topped it up as well, thinking of buying the Motorola E398 MP3/video/bluetooth phone on T-Mobile for £129.99 on The Link website

one question (especially the men!) - where do you carry these phones?! especially in the summer when you have no coat etc

i sometimes get called re work, and would love the ability to dial in from where ever i am, but so far managed to do with out this facility. however, i would like a pda providing that i can vpn in but the thought of lugging one around plus a phone puts me off.

starting to think about a smart phone, however, i dont think that would be suitable

i own:

Motorola A835 on ThreePay
Nokia 7250i on T-Mobile PAYG
Nokia 3410 on O2 Online PAYG

the A835 always leaves the house when i go out, as with the 7250i (sometimes i leave that at home) but the 3410 always stays in my room

I would rather call him up on the same network I am using than get charged 35p a minute or whatever!

I have a Samsung E700 on o2 and Nokia 3510i on Vodafone. One for work, one for err...play

I have an O2 Nokia 6310i (couldn't live without bluetooth and GPRS now! ) and a Nokia 7600 on 3 (Video Talk 500) for my own use.

Tbh, I often tend to divert my own phone to my work one though, which can make it the divert trek from hell! Personal Mobile --> Work Mobile --> Work Landline --> Voicemail

Just out of interest. If i set up divert on my work mobile to my personal mobile (both o2) does it cost me anything extra?

Your work mobile will be charged for the calll to your personal one, as if you were making the call.

Its charged at the rate as if you were making the call... Sure your work would love the expense
