DVD Rip Software
Hi,
I've been attempting to rip my DVD's into MP4 format so i can transfer to my kindle and watch offline. Trouble is most software downloads are a free trial and then pay, one let me rip a dvd but i had to put up with its logo on the film. Found FileFactory which is completely free but when you rip it dumps subtitles onto the film. Anyone know a good software which is free or a good software that is reasonably cheap and good value for money? Cheers |

I'm using a trial version DVD Fab at the moment which I'm ripping my DVDs with to an mp4 format but wouldn't play on the kindle so I used Handbrake to convert the file again to mp4 and for some reason they now play which is great.
One problem though I can't delete the converted handbrake file from my laptop! It says I need permission and click continue then just fails to delete. Don't get it? I'm the admin for the laptop so shouldn't I be able to remove it? Anyone else have this issue? |

I wonder if the DVD's are protected, if that it would be illegal to rip them.
