Via Google:
HP Recovery Manager can be accessed from the Start Menu, or by tapping F11 key as soon as you power on the laptop. Recovery Manager is used to reinstall back to factory specs and is also used to make a Recovery Disk set. |

The steps are pretty self explanatory. I have had to get official HP restore discs from them because my Laptop wouldn't create them. Luckily I did not have to pay £30+ for them like they are listed on the website.

You don't even need the disk. As the instructions said: just keep tapping the F11 key as the PC boots up. You should be given several options, one of which will be to reset the PC back to how it was when you bought it.

Thanks Stig, wish I knew that before I took 3 hours on and off hunting for my discs if created a while back. Approx how long will it take? |
