Ok just connected a TH42PW7 to a Pioneer DBR-TF100 freeview box via scart to the scart on the plamsa(input2). I have follwed to the letter the relevent instructions with regard input siganl settings but have come up against a problem.

According to the manual having pressed the set-up button on the plasmas remote I am shown the set up screen. So far so good but whereas the manual shows the first option of....component/RGB in selct.....and being able to toggle between the two then I just have a blank box. ie I can`t even choose RGB.

However I do get a picture, quite surprising a good one having read some of the reviews with regard plasmas and digital artefacts.

Anyway any help with regard the above would be much appreciated.

If you want help you should give as much info as possible........what make is the TH42PW7

Have you setup the Pioneer Freeview to OUTPUT RGB....it may just be outputting composite video and that's why you cannot see a pic when you select RGB on the TH42PW7

Assumed Panasonic TH-42PW7 Plasma screen
there is no option for the scart board for component so the RGBHV/YUV option is greyed out when scart board is inserted...
