Got a 40% of £40 deal and we've decided to get pizza tonight, woo. Anyway, I want to add an additional portion of Chicken Kickers to bring us over £40 but every time I do I get a "double up two for £8.50" - meaning it's part of another deal (making it invalid for the 40% off!) and I cannot remove the discount. Unbelievably, Dominos wont actually allow me to pay the full price!

Have you seen their prices? It's very easy to spend £40 on an average family there - two large pizzas and a bottle of coke and it's gone. And we're not going to be spending £40, we'll be spending £24 because of the discount.

Urg, they still call that stuff pizza? I thought the trade descriptions act would have caught up with them by now.

£18 for a vile greesy round thing from dominos

£9 for a tasty, fresh pizza made with yummy prosciutto and smoked cheese from my local Italian restaurant. Made by a classically trained Italian chef.

Tough choice.

So, just order 1 and not the 2 for £8.50, I have just looked on dominos.co.uk and it doesn't force you to add 2.

We keep getting these vouchers dropped through the letterbox.

So about once a month, we will go for the two pizzas for the price of one or for the two pizzas, two side dishes plus a pepsi (which we never drink) as this works out as a cheap deal too.

I love their super thin based pizzas though. Then it's all topping and hardly any dough!

They do some good deals IMHO.

For a considerably larger pizza delivered to your home, with a few more variants than cheese and tomato and ham. Not paying £2.40 for a pint of coke or any other drink for that matter as well.

As for taste I think dominos is gorgeous. But I'm easly satisfied.

so not a tough choice for me agreed.

Two large pizzas is actually £19.99 delivered. ( I never ask for change though)

£40 for pizza!!, my weekly food bill doesn't come to that.
Pizza must be the simplest thing to make.

Really?

What part of "A baked pie of Italian origin consisting of a shallow breadlike crust covered with toppings such as seasoned tomato sauce, cheese, sausage, or olives" do you think they are illegally misrepresenting?

A pizza is a pizza whether you value it or not, just as both a £2.99 bottle of Tesco value plonk and a $100,000 Chateau d'Yquem 1787 can both be called "a bottle of wine".

"Ay, in the catalogue ye go for men;
As hounds and greyhounds, mongrels, spaniels, curs,
Shoughs, water-rugs and demi-wolves, are clept
All by the name of dogs"
- Macbeth, Act 3, Scene 1

I believe that can also get you two medium pizzas, garlic bread, chips and a small bottle of coke.

Get a box of chicken strippers instead, or the mozzarella sticks, they're quite nice

Is it just online the discount? I usually just ring them up and ask about the offers as the websites kinda confuse me..

Just had a look at the website. Most 'meal deals' are £20 or over. Quite ridiculous. Yeah it's nice, but it's not that nice.

From Dominos it has to be the Large New Yorker (classic base), customised with Sun-dried tomato and garlic sauce, Jalapeños, Onions and ground beef. With a side order of garlic bread and garlic mozzarella sticks.

Immense eats.
