Getting PAC from T-Mobile

Hi - I need to get a PAC from t-mobile for my wife's phone (PAYG) but every option we go through calling customer services to try and get through results in a message of "due to the unprecedented demand for the iphone5 we are unable to answer your call. Please order online" - and then the call ends!

Is there any other way of getting the pac?

It is just a payg number, so in theory she could use the one with the new phone, but its all the hassle of telling everyone the new number!

Is there a different option you can select, even something like billing, technical queries or something, then you can get them to transfer you to retentions.

It doesn't appear so - its literally the same message whatever option I select!

Can you get to a T-Mobile/EE shop and asked them to call CS for you then they'll pass you the phone to talk to CS? Thats what I done in the end.

ETA: I'm back on T-mobile now btw

From memory: dial T-Mobile CS from your phone, press option to not speak about your PAYG number, enter a dummy mobile number, and press 2 (the option to leave) until you hear the voice that says if you are a mobile broadband customer that wants to leave, press 1. You'll probably have to listen to some music for a long time but you will get through to a human in the UK who works in retentions.

Call 150 from your T-Mobile phone, select option 2 and then option 2 again. This gets you through to the retentions / leave T-Mobile team.
