Is this safe?

Our freezer broke the other day so obviously we've not been eating anything frozen since then. But tonight I fancied steak and chips for dinner - so I bought a bag of frozen chips and just left them on the side. I also bought frozen onion rings.

Is it safe to cook and eat these, seeing as they'll have thawed by now? I figured seeing as it's not meat or fish it wouldn't be a problem, but just wanted some advice.

It won't be a problem if you bought them today.

They're only potatoes. If it was meat and it got really warm, like chicken then maybe not lol. I've eaten worse and I'm still alive
