I'm installing office 2010 onto a windows xp machine.
Get almost to the end, and I get error 1935. Google tells me this is common, but the fixes are not very clear and of various types.

Currently downloading the net framwork 4, as that's the first thing that's suggested I can do something about. A lot of the advice in various places is at least 18 months old.

Anyone got any recent experience, and could put it in simple terms for me please?
