Yep it's worth a punt. Orange/T-Mobile have coverage pretty much everywhere these days.

Just a few things to bear in mind.
- Is your phone unlocked to accept any network sim?
- Would 500 mins and 1GB be enough? (you can swap them out e.g less mins for more data)

I wouldn't call this a great deal as i am with them sim only and for the same price £12, I get 1200 minutes, unlimited texts, 1.5gb internet.

Yep as long as the phone is unlocked it'll be fine. It's worth having a look around for a better deal like rani says.

Tesco (who use O2) do the same deal (500/5000/1GB) for £10pm on a 1 month rolling contract. (this presumes you're happy with O2's service)

Or if you ring up Virgin, (or are a bb/tv customer with them) you can probably get a better deal than the one advertised.

Or you can sign up for the same deal rani has here- (1200mins/5000texts/1GB Data)

Don't forget you can usually get a better deal if you sign up to a 12 month minimum term but i understand why you'd want a 1 month one.

Hi

I've just got the sim only tariff from virgin mobile for my ipad. It's 12.00 per month and is unlimited data and unlimited texts. Much better than the 1gb data...
