If wifi only It does not have the vagaries of 3G and 4G so will be the same as 'over here'.
Its the likes of smartphones like the 4G iPhone produced for 'over there' that will have reduced functionality 'over here' due to 4G incompatibility. |

and you'll need to get a UK power adapter .... if its like the Nexus 7 it will need a higher powered adapter than a standard 'phone' charger.

The power adapters for tablets are, almost without exception, multi-voltage ones and it is almost certain that only a simple plug converter will be required!

Power adapter wise, they come in two part for the Nexus 10. The transformer slides into the plug bit to make a single solid block.

Looks almost identical in concept to the two-part iPad power adapter - but I have no idea if the "country specific" plug half can be bought on its own! The "electronics" half will be multi-voltage and suitable for worldwide use.

Obviously a 99p 2 pin to 3 pin adapter does the trick.
I've got a few of the newer 2 part plug designs but have a feeling that they are all non standard items. |
