I have a soft spot for Matt and Brianne - if they skate well - which they will - obviously I will vote for them.

It'll be a real bore if yet another Olympian automatically wins DOI like Louis Smith won SCD.

No it will a bore if another soap star wins simply because he is a soap star. That is boring IMO.

I'll rather have an enthusiastic and talented young lad like Matt win than another Olympian who's already had their spell in the limelight last year.

Oh so thats the truth of it you seem to have an issue with sportspeople then in particular Olympians. So thats your issue because they had all the attention last year. Well given they have worked hard all their lives to achieve their goals they deserve to have their time in the limelight and IMO are much better role models than most of your famous for five minutes TV stars.

Matt is not as talented IMO as he is made out to be numerous people have commented on his sloppy skating and he has not IMO progressed from Week 1 and is certainly nowhere near as talented as many of the previous male celebs on this show and I say that as someone who was not a fan of most of them in particular Ray as I didn't like him but I acknowledged at least he was a fab skater and Matt could not hold a candle to any of them in terms of ability.

Matt has been lucky thus far that he has managed to convince the judges he is something special but I hope the public have not been fooled so easily.

I don't care whether a sportsperson or a soap star wins the show, I just want the skater I enjoy watching the most to win! Is that odd? Anyway, for me that person is Matt so I will be voting for him!

An Olympian who has trained since the age of seven to achieve what you call her spell in the limelight.

Beth isn't just some flash in the pan wannabe whose sole ambition is to 'be famous.' She's one of Britain's most successful ever athletes - a credit to her sport and an inspiring example for young gymnasts countrywide, using as she does her 'spell in the limelight' to give something back to her sport.

Not for her the tears or air thumping - no front page interviews about a broken romance, nary a reference to her nan etc; just good old fashioned hard work and dedication: those work ethics that seem to have been lost in the drama of this series.

I think Matt always does the most entertaining skate and I'd like him to win, but I think Beth will win. I do enjoy her performances and think she is a worthy winner also

Exactly - saying 'Who's voting for Matt?' is one thing, but to say 'Vote for Matt!' makes it sound like a command

In seven previous series of DOI only 1 winner has been a sportsperson & no sportswoman has ever won a reality show in this country. In fact Kyran is the only sportsperson to get to a DOI final before this year never mind win, so don't see what you're getting worked up about even if you're not a fan of sportspeople in these shows.

Also I really dislike it when people say that Olympians shouldn't be n the limelight & in the media and on TV shows. I just don't understand this point of view - they have worked hard & made sacrifices for years so let them enjoy their time in the limelight.
