loosing credit!

Hi there, me and the wife treated ouselves to smart phones 2 weeks ago and we are losing credit on both of them without using them, they are Galaxy Aces and we are set up for wi fi in the house and haven't downloaded any app's yet so don't know whats runing in the back ground if thats the problem, I'm with Orange and she is with T Mobile.

Go to settings>mobile networks> and check if mobile data of packet data os ticked. If it is untick it. Smartphones are designed to use data to update your phone/check for emails etc...

It seems like you're on a old pay as you go plan which doesn't have data access. If you plan to use data outside of your house/wifi area then its worth contacting your network to see if they can move you to a plan that includes data.

You should have been told this when you bought the phone. You might be able to claim the credit back of you both complain.
