Hi all

You might know me from the Strictly forums, and over there I'm running a game called Reality Check, which is about to start its 7th series (can't believe it's lasted over a year). I had a think a little while ago about if it could translate to a DOI version, and I reckon it can so I'm going to have a go!

For those of you who are unfamiliar to Reality Check - it's similar to Twist & Sequins in that there's various twists and themes to endure throughout the series, but that's it. In Reality Check, you are not playing as yourself: you will be mentoring couples and trying to guide them through as many weeks as possible. There's 2 shows a week, and mentors need to PM me songs for their couples each week.

I'm looking for 4 mentors who will have 3 couples each. The series is expected to last for around 4-5 weeks, dependent on whether I decide to have any double eliminations or not

I'm hoping to start it in around 2 weeks or so. If you would like to sign up as a mentor then please post on this thread

Yeah if this takes off then I'll be spacing out the Strictly version a lot more, so maybe have only 3 or 4 series this year, instead of the 6 that I managed last year

Man you're good but for no.4, you should have got it as only one of them won 2 medals, the rest all got 1.

So Harry Potter stars James and Oliver Phelps are participating. There were a few reasons that they were selected - they're both quite tall, the "sibling rivalry" factor, and the fact that they're from Sutton Coldfield, which isn't far from me James will be skating with Katie Stainsby, and Oliver will be skating with Susie Lipanova.

Ben Miller will also be taking to the ice. He hopes to do better than Todd Carty. Ben will be skating with Frankie Poultney.

Sally Gunnell will be going for gold with Andrei Lipanov.

Liz Mitchell of Boney M (the main singer) wants to make her skating partner proud. She will be competing with 2-time champion Daniel Whiston.
