I still need everyone's song choices in - see page 6 as to what props everyone has for the week

Will be in later tonight - got the songs sorted and now just have to write the bit about the prop.

The show will be up later today - Val has failed to send songs in so both of her couples will be docked 6 points each.

I've thought a bit more about this, and I've come to a decision.

Due to this being the quarter-final, and really needing to have everything in (as well as sending Val a reminder PM early yesterday), I think that the fairest thing to do would be to declare David's couples immune and for the elimination tonight to purely be between Val's 2 couples.

I will however post what I was sent by David

Jamie & Brianne - "Hedwig's Theme" by John Williams, Prop: BROOM

The broom used in the routine is one that resembles a broomstick, hence the music used. Jamie, as a wizard, skates in on the broomstick from the tunnel at the side of the rink, over to Brianne who is at the other end of the rink by the judges desk. The image projected onto the rink is that of the night sky, to give the impression that Jamie is flying on the broom. The broom is used during the whole routine, including a shadow sequence and a death spiral, along with other lifts and tricks. The routine ends with both Jamie and Brianne mounting the broom, ready to fly away together.

Ben & Frankie - "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from Mary Poppins, Prop: UMBRELLA

Frankie is Mary Poppins, who owns the umbrella, and Ben is Bert the chimney-sweep. To start the routine, Ben and Frankie sit at the edge of the rink under the umbrella, looking glum as it is raining. As the music starts, the rain stops and the sun comes out, meaning they can close the umbrella and start dancing. The umbrella, both in its open and closed state, is used throughout the routine and its lifts and tricks, including an unassisted jump sequence and a short tap-dance-like solo performed by Ben.

Rebecca & Pavel - "School's Out" by Alice Cooper, Prop: CHAIR

Rebecca and Pavel are two teenagers who have been kept after school for detention. A mock classroom is set up on the stage behind the rink, and with the teacher out of the room, they trash the classroom before taking to the ice with one of the chairs. They then proceed to perform a daring routine with the chair providing a base for the lifts and tricks. At the end of the routine, they let go of the chair and perform the headbanger.

Just to say that Scott & Vicky would have had a HAT, and Sally & Andrei a FEATHER BOA.

That's a fair way of doing it - I got the PM yesterday and was gonna send it all in but got caught up in some things later on and it completely flew out of my mind. I'll make sure to send in my song for one of my couples next week.

Yeah I really didn't want to have to do that, but I felt that it was only fair and I'd already moved the show back by one day anyway.
