Samsung Galaxy S3 mini - Battery life

Hi, can anyone please help me with this issue - my battery is struggling to last a full day - with medium use I would say.

When I go to settings, battery, it says roughly 40% on Android OS if I click on this, there are details saying cpu total 1h 14m 19s but Stay awake is 7h 11m 32s. What is this stay awake, is there something running that is draining the battery I should turn off??

Any assistance would be greatly received, I miss my Blackberry for this reason (battery life)!

Thank you

Hi,

I had a similar problem with my s3. Certain apps will keep your phone from entering sleep mode and thus the battery will constantly be drained, even when your not using the phone.

The solution with me was to delete google chrome. Turns out it was contacting the servers every few minutes and since its been gone the battery life has been brilliant. It doesn't seem to matter when you last used chrome.

Hope this is useful to you. If you need any further help just get in touch

Install GSam and see what is exactly consuming your battery.
