A bacon roll from the Pasty Company (can't remember which brand name it is) at Liverpool St station. They're delicious - nice crusty roll and plenty of bacon.

With any luck, when I pass through there in about an hour I'll have time to get one before my connection.

In case anyone's wondering (!):

- I made it in time to get my bacon roll and a cup of tea
- it's 'The Pasty Shop'
- I'm feeling very smug as the rail replacement bus I'm on doesn't have any catering facilities and the other passengers look very envious. (Either that or they're hating the smell of the bacon, but everyone loves the smell of bacon don't they Reputedly, even vegetarians. )

I'm a vegetarian and bacon is the one meat smell that I actually don't mind.

Again - a hot, flakey cheese & onion pasty with HP sauce and a bag of sea salt & balsamic vinegar crisps. ( those extra hard/crunchy ones). I could also eat some colcannon. Sadly, I'm taking those fat tablets - ironically I'm doing well. Swallow one after a light meal and you don't cheat, just dream on.

Despite being on a diet, I wouldn't normally eat the above all together or everyday/frequently - but right now I could!

With snow falling outside. I've just got a scotch pie from the sandwich van that's come round. The only alternative was a macaroni pie and they are disgusting.
