Does anyone else collect coffee stamps at Greggs, as you can get a free coffee after collecting 7 stamps

Actually, I head Greggs invented them just for you

Is the coffee nice in there or is it just machine coffee? There's a caf near me that does coffee for a pound

Our coffee is our own unique blend of mild, high grown Arabica beans from Peru and Colombia allied with rich tasting Robusta beans from Tanzania and is 100% Fairtrade.

Sounds nice.

Loads of places do this, m&s, Nero and McDonald's to name a few. And all of them do much nicer coffee than greggs.

I see Greggs are trying to save money by increasing number of coffees you have to buy to get a free one. Its gone up from 7 cups to 9

I don't see how this does the trick. I will often take a loyalty card is offered, but more often than not, I will never even come close to filling it and discard it or lose it long before it is full.

How does this benefit anyone?

It benefits the people who do use their cards

But maybe greggs is more handier for people.

When Greggs sell a coffee how much influence does that have on greggs shares in the stockmarket

^^

Greggs coffees are actually ok, I only have them once in a blue moon so a loyalty card would be lost on me lol

They are aren't they. I tried a Costa coffee last weekend for first ever time. Was quite impressed to be fair. Not as expensive as people make out IMO. Large takeaway coffee at cotas was £2.20. Compared to £1.70 at greggs and in fairness it was actually a large cup

I went into a costa coffee earlier ordered a large coffee. They said that will be £2.65. I only had £2.50 on me so I said i'll just nip back to car for 15p, they said don't worry. So they must be doing well if they are willing to let you off.

It's the 3rd sunday in a row I've been into a costas, on each occasion I've ordered large coffees, and been charged different prices.

1st one I went into I was charged £2.20. Last sunday I got one and was charged £2.40 and today I was charged £2.65.
