Yep, and it's completely from the votes - the judges have no power. There's no bottom two, simply the contestant with the fewest votes from each category will be going home

Melanie, well done for opening the first show of what looks like will be a very long night for all involved. I thought this was an okay song choice and it's not really what I'm keen on. But I think that there is so much potential in you and I feel that your mentor needs to take advantage of that. But that said, I think you're on the right track and I hope you're safe later.

Melanie, I have to congratulate you on coming out on stage first but to be slightly honest, I was a little disappointed with that performance. There is no denying that you have a fantastic voice with this rocky tinge, but tonight I just felt something was missing. I think it might have been the song choice which I wasn’t overly keen on and I think the performance was just a bit mediocre. However, saying that I know that you can do much better and I think you still have a long journey left in this competition so I really hope that the public save you tonight, because I think you could be one of the best talent’s in this competition. Good luck tonight Melanie.

Melanie Masson

Melanie, what a way to kick off the first live show! We know you've got the power and the strength in your voice; however what we wanted to show in this song is the slow build up to the killer power at the end. You didn't fail to impress and you absolutely killed it tonight; the build up was brilliant and when you finally let go on the chorus' it was amazing. Well Done! I hope everyone votes for you tonight as you have to be in the next round

Diamond White
A short but sweet song from you there Diamond which allowed you to get the power of your voice across. I sometimes think that song can come across as a bit shouty when it gets to the chorus, however I think you managed to hold it back before delivering the killer punch when the song reaches its climax. It was a really good first performance and one where you were able to put all your emotion completely bring all that out in the delivery. A great song choice for you and one that I hope will see you through in the voting.
