Since Kylie arrived on the street, I've fallen in love with the character. Even at the start where she was a troublemaker, I liked her.

So she's done it, she's beaten all the other 65 characters to be named Your Favourite Coronation Street Character 2013! If you'd told me that Kylie would top the poll in two years when I first started this competition, there would have been no way I would have believed you! She only ranked at 41 and was generally quite an unpopular character, look where she is now! The Kylie and David pairing was a genius move from the producers I think, it thoroughly improved both characters and really brought something knew out of Kylie, that we as viewers had not seen before. I think the reason why Kylie's such a good character is because she has so many dimensions, she's by no means a perfect character, she makes many mistakes and can be quite aggressive with her words, however her heart's in the right place and she's a good person who cares about her husband and son, and that's the side of Kylie we all love. 2012 was a big year for Kylie, she developed even more as a character after becoming bar manager at the bistro, we've also seen her develop as a mother to Max and wife to David, and she even has another baby coming. However that does come with some trouble, as there is the possibility that the father of the baby may actually be David's brother, Nick! Kylie was somewhat the underdog in the final vote, she wasn't doing that well towards the beginning which surprised me as she'd topped the top 15, however she climed the rankings and made it in the end. She also only just made it in Round 2, coming 3rd in her heat, and the fact that she went on to win shows just how close and unpredictable voting was this year! I am really pleased that Kylie took it in the end though, for all the reasons I stated above and also the fact that Paula Lane is fantastic at playing Kylie! I also think it's pretty good that Kylie topped as a homeage to last year's winner, her sister Becky McDonald, who is no longer on the show Will Kylie be able to keep her number 1 position for next year's competition?

Yeah, a very good actress.
Now David knows that Kylie has cheated and the baby might not be his, I wonder now what will happen. I hope however, David at some point forgive, but you can't really forgive unless you really love someone.
I didn't actually recognise Paula Lane at the Soap Awards as she looks so different to Kylie but she's gorgeous and she's great. One of my favourite moments was earlier in the pregnancy when David was going on about Lewis I think and she pulled this brilliant face as if she was about to throw up. My mum and I had to watch it about ten times.
