Would say yes have found the Samsung sets to be pretty good overall. I currently have the UE46ES6800 and the 46D7000.
Both play pretty much anything you throw at them including 1080p MKV files and 3D MKV files also via usb key or connected hard drives. The rrp on the one your looking at is £879.99, so at £550 your getting a good deal for a 3D TV, you get X2 active glasses with it but its not WIFI and you would need an adapter, but it`ll take an ethernet cable if you have one and play back from Netflix and Lovefilm is great as long as you have a decent internet. Also there is a channel with 3D content on there too which is worth a look. |

Sorry your right miss read the "Wireless LAN Built-in available" as it would need the adaptor, but says the same both the models I own. Bad wording that.

I downloaded a piece of software called serviio on my PC which acts as a server and so if the file is on my PC, my TV can access it using by being connected to my wifi hub.

Samsungs own allshare cast does the job pretty well too. Plus if you have a Galaxy product it should stream from that without issue.

I use a western digital NAS Book and can access files on it via Twonky on the TV.
